My elder brother had Shogun..i was 6 7 years old..i use to seat on tank and he tried to scare me..he was riding so fast i closed my eyes.. when I opened my eyes.. speedometer was 90 degrees and tachometer was on 11..it was so fun..
Very Nicely kept...1993 model doesn't come with catcon silencer...it also came with single meter like Max....there is some locaha...still its very hard to get 2 strokes nowadays..keep its up👍
First in 1993 it came with samurai/supra 12 volt speedometer and Supra resonator. Then they gave shogun meter but still the supra resonator. Then came shogun resonator in 1995. So far the carburettor had 1.5 slider, 4D04 needle with 100 and 20 main and pilot jets, respectively. The last batch non catalytic model came with 2.0 slider and 4D01 needle. Then came the catalytic model in 1997 and it had a unique kicker where the bottom part is extended near the joint so that the kicker won't scratch the heat guard (here in this bike you can see the scratch in the heat guard because normal kicker is being used). The catalyser model used 2.0 black slider and 4D01 needle with 97.5 and 17.5 jets.
The second digit in the chassis and engine number reveals the year. Eg. 8304 means it's a Shogun (Shogun always has first digit as 8) made in 93 April. The first four digits of chassis and engine numbers need not be the same, but although mostly they are. You can also check the year in the magnet, the covers of the engine, etc.
@Anandkumar-hz8mn astounding details you remember! Salutes! I had one between 1994 and 2001. Sold it after an accident. But still, a forever fan of Yezdi 250, RX 100 and Suzuki Shogun, had all, one by one between 1986 and 2001 (Yezdi 250 was owned by my father since 1974 till 1994). No matching thrills now! The roars of yore can't be matched at all...!😢
Beautiful bike! Introduced in 1993/94. Minor upgrade by Suzuki in 1997- distinguished by a shield on top of the exhaust, inbuilt with a Catalytic Converter. No more 2T oil was required to be added to the fuel tank. (A catalytic converter is an exhaust emission control device which converts toxic gases and pollutants in exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine into less-toxic pollutants by catalyzing a redox reaction.- Wikipedia), disc brakes and change in exhaust note. This bike is the second generation Shogun 1997 or after . First generation Shoguns have distinctive exhaust note from this bike. Both bikes are a thrill to ride, feel and hear ☺️ First generation note - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OLgxqYwuz90.htmlsi=9nREc6eaJQvuSjcy
