Hey man I know this video was an older one but did you have any problems with the OEM alternator? I just bought a 2000w 1000w rms system and am worried that my alternator will shit the bed when connected. Thanks.

Nice install man but all you had to do was pull out the radio and radio cage. Didn't have to remove the whole console.

? for ya'll - on the Rockville RV12.1C 600w 12 inch. and others like it. I know you use the RCE out ports on a pioneer Stereo to connect to the RCA inputs on the amp, But do you not use the RCE outs on the amp unit to connect the amp to the sub that are there to use?, Do we just use the regular type speaker wire you strip to run from the amp to the sub speaker?

Can i use stock speaker wires for connecting aftermarket speakers to my amplifier (Pioneer GM-D8604 Class FD 4-Channel Bridgeable Amplifier) which is a 4 channel amp and i want to power all four speakers through the amp. Also the stock speaker wires presently all go to the stock stereo and is connected with a harness, do i have to cut the harness and re-route the factory wires for connecting with the amps? ( p.s m also installing a new stereo i.e Pioneer MVH-X390BT, it has 4 rca outputs so thinking of connecting all 4 to the amp). SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

do you need anything going into/out of the speaker output can u use the red and white ones that came in the amp box to connect to one sub

The red / white RCA cables that came with the amp are for high-level speaker inputs where essentially you use those adapters and tap into your factory speaker wires on your car. You wouldn't need them if you were running an aftermarket radio.

You can run the power cable through the right fender and door just make sure the wire is protected with tubing

Trying to capture sounds (especially from a sub) using a basic mic from a camera generally yields poor distortion on film, hence why we didn't provide any "sound bro."

For my set up I have all the wires present but I have an aftermarket head unit and there’s extra wires as to what I’m assuming are the speakers in the car, can I just splice them together and put them in the speaker input? Or would I have to find an amp that has ports for all the speaker wires?

most people would run the RCA's down the opposite side of the car to where the power cable is being run to reduce the risk of picking electrical interference noise in the RCA cable, taping a 12v remote wire to it makes no sense, power cables down one side, audio signal cables on the other people. Most quality amps even keep the input power terminals away from the RCA inputs for this reason, thatswhy your remote wire is on the wrong side and you had to run it under the amp to get it to the correct side.

Michael, the remote wire draws less than 1 amp which will cause no issue with engine noise. If you feel like it will, by all means, run it on the side you choose. Generally engine nose comes from poor grounds or faulty wiring.

Allows you to adjust the DB level of the subwoofer, or essentially more "bass" when you want it and less "bass" when you don't.

Hey everyone, the ground wire that came with my kit is tiny, I'm worried not getting a solid ground and the subs buzzing. My question is how am I suppost to do the install with such a small ground?

I have the exact amplifier and I have 2 4 ohm pioneer subs rated at 400w RMS and the amp which is the same as the one you have is rated at 800w rms at 1 ohm so I will have to wire the subs to 1 ohm...Well I know how to do that but it says it's a mono block amp but it had two channels where do I put the + and - wire if I'm wiring them to 1 ohm? Please get back to me the whole 2 channel on a mono block is confusing the crap out of me.

All depends on the type of subwoofer you have, what are the model numbers of your subwoofer? It depends if they are DVC or SVC, and at what impedance they are wired at.

Provo Beast Audio Installation they are 4 ohm DVC sorry I forgot to mention that but they will be wired at 1 ohm like I said I can do the wiring it's just the amp is a mono block but it has two channels I don't get it do I just use one channel or do I bridge it and use one + from the first channel and the - from the second channel?

There isn't two channels, just two speaker terminal hook-ups to the same channel. Just choose one + and one - to hook the speaker wire up to, its all the same channel.
