Totally agree. Also the best looking liveries. Everyone a classic now, Ford or Holden. Winfield, Castrol Perkins, Shell Helix Fords. Best touring car series. Sadly they've managed to ruin it since...😢
its interesting seeing how group A touring cars evolved differently in the ATCC compared to the BTCC. In Australia, group A became big 4 door v8 stock cars, in the UK group A became 4 cylinder FWD cars
Woah!! MARK SKAIFE!! 5:14! that twice I have seen him escape a high speed spin at Adelaide back in 2002 when "The Rat" hit Skaife then avoided hitting the concrete wall.
Thanks for uploading this Voltie. Seems like yesterday when I watched this - how time has flew by. What a race between Bowe and Perks. Those were the days when DJR were no.1. Gotta love big Daryl.....hey, don't suppose you have the 2 1993 race from Adelaide F1 weekend? I remember how AJ was making quite a show in the beaut PJ Falcon but ended up spinning away to lose a potential top spot. And secondly, do you have the PJ dash from Bathurst ATCC round and Oran Park, both in 1995? I remember the awesome ding dong race between the 2 DJR cars, the Perkins car and GSR cars. Always wanted to watch that again....

@@barryphillips7327 Mark Skaife has the knowledge alright. But the same old superlatives over and over drives me mad. Tander should replace him. BTW, do you know who the other commentator here is? I'm thinking Brad Jones? Whoever it was definitely was a driver, due to how much he knew.
I have wanted to ask the same. Not sure that Brad was in the race, I think he may have crashed out earlier & was therefore a guest commentator. Judging by their expertise it was definitely a driver.
