Graham Richards (BBC Radio Derby) original commentary dubbed onto video footage of Derby's goals and the two pitch invasions during their play off match against Millwall in 1994.
My last away game in England....Millwall lived up to their reputation , absolute disgrace to English football . It was stupid they tore up thier own stadium and it was Millwall " fans " of all ages . .....we finally left under heavy police escort at midnight ...what a bunch of wankers
I was there, it was quite scary outside after (funny but for all the wrong reasons when I saw the trashed Radio Derby car). Think I would’ve been 23. Shit, that’s over half my life away now! 🐏
@@triptechable haha yeah, it was there technically, but not driveable what with it being flat-out on its roof. That was mad 😂 Still filthy even now. Pfft 🤬🤬
Got robbed in the final and God knows what Paul Williams was doing on the goal line ducking out the way of the ball, good times though! We should of got promoted would of done really well, we had a premier league team back then!
I dont know you. Maybe I do.But I was on that bus too. I lived in Bow and the police bus took us north of the river if I remember rightly. Brilliant game but as a Derby fan I was not looking forward to getting the tube from New Cross to the East End.
@@patriot1066 Sorry, do you have to be ‘self righteous’ to not go around beating people up? What world do you live in? You DO know it’s 2022 don’t you? What the actual fuck are you talking about? Wow, that takes mental to a whole new level. I do hope your parents are proud of you
@@stuartwilliams7912rom when Everton came down to Millwall we put up a fight. One of your so called fans left with half his face missing then moaned on national TV
Graham Richards worked for more than twenty years for BBC Radio Derby, preparing carefully for every match home and away on which he gave commentary informed and involved. He loved the game and Derby County, was prepared to be critical if the team played poorly as he felt deeply about it. Unlike those so-called fans of Millwall, he never started or provoked any fighting which he regarded as idiotic and nothing to do with the sport. Steve, you were wrong.
I hate seeing people in this shirt. We're hopeless atm Warne-ball is okay but the players are moderate. I'd rather throw the young 'uns in and watch them grow with some hard-cases for protection. Washington, Collins, Hourihan are rubbish and the club is becoming a joke
