The shirtless announcer has to be the first I've ever seen. So much nostalgia from this, from the 1-800-Collect to the VHS resolution! Thanks for posting and Im excited for tomorrow's Wick.
Henry was a beast at Southwick. Watched him in NESC as on the line in a Novice race him and John Dowd Treadwell,Lorrusso and Carter would throw down in the 125 or 250 expert class. When Henry stepped up his game and went to the next level AMA pro in East 125 SX on a privateer yamaha it didnt take long for Team Honda to notice him and sign him. They were soon rewarded with back to back 125 National Championships on top of tge 125 east SX. Was a pleasure to witness his success from the sidelines. Hometown hero for sure. Was a tradegy after coming back from that insane leap off the ski jump now named in his honor ( Henry Hill) and the horrific flat bottom landing and back injury, to not only heal but race and WIN again on the yamaha thumper 400 , after breaking both arms coming up short on a big double in testing when the undeveloped 4 stroke flamed out and stalled on the air, but the last super moto injury was the one that is so trajic. A legend who had a determination beyond mere mortal!!
