Thank You so very much for taking the time to film this video, your instructions, specific details and even leaving in the broken window was awesome and easily understood.
@loulouterry-pl4oh you're welcome. Yeah, I left the footage of the broken window, so maybe someone else won't make the same mistake, lol, even though I've done that job many times on both of my town cars I have never broken a window before it took me by surprise. Am glad the video helped you out.
What a great job and very good instruction! Thank you for taking the time to make this video, you didn't have to do it but you did! God bless you friend!
Don't feel bad. I had been doing it wrong for decades. I found out about first knocking the centers out of the rivets from watching a Car Wizard video a couple of years ago. I also got lucky and never broke a window. Thanks for the video.
I've had my 95 TC for 14 years and I've replaced all the regulators multiple times. The rears are the worst. I'm on the 4th each side. They break even if they're hardly used. Every one I've bought is junk, no matter what brand. Oddly the front are still ok.
The reason why the window broke is because my drill bit went through the hole and it touched the glass and broke it, a better method is to punch out the center of the rivet and use a punch then carefully dril lthe head off. I think I showed that method later in the video when I was at the junkyard. Well, i took a deep breath and thought i can show people what not to do in this video lol. Thanks for watching .
LOL deep breath you did a good job on explaining stuff some people talk way too fast like they are salesman but you did a good job all right man have a good new year. See you later.
@ruggedrickrude1946 Thank you very much. Well Since English is my second language my brain has to translate from Spanish to English so words come out my mouth slower than most people LOL. Happy New Year to you as well.
Hey bro thanks for the vid if you don't mind me asking what junk yard did you go to for this my town car is the exact same one in the junkyard color and all and I need a some interior parts
In the video at around 17:20 I show what needs to be remove in order for the window to come out, there's a rail on each side that holds the window in place, you need to remove the bolts to loosen the rails and the window comes out.
