My recollection is that Mike Hargrove was one of the few managers who frequently gave hitters the green light to swing on 3-0 counts. Even I was surprised he gave it to Pena, but it clearly worked out in that case.

Going back to look at the recaps, I don't get it either..Boston had the next-best record after the Indians, then Seattle and the Yanks..you would have thought last should draw the best record, but I can find no reason how it happened this way..😊❤
