That's how it should be done. One thing that was coward activity was all the subliminal sneak ddissing biggie participated in, in my opinion it tarnished biggies reputation
Yall know 8 was sitting right there in the second row!! That's why he stood in one spot the whole time he was on stage. He rapped the whole verse directly to that man. The disrespect was so real😂😂😂. Side note: Quick is one of the best that ever did it!! Big ups to him❤
Quik said in an interview that he really couldn't see where exactly Eiht was seated because the lights were so bright it blinded him so he just tried focus on one general area.
DJ Quik in my opinion was one of the best lyricist in Hip Hop back in the day. His lyrics were smooth and correct. They always flowed. He always seemed to be under the radar by the mainstream. But he was underground anyway. He’s probably my favorite Hip Hop rapper, even over Eazy E in my opinion. E made it mainstream popular. Also it was rare in those days to have a Blood out there actually rapping. Most didn’t mess with him, because they knew he was the real deal. Always mentioned his hood in every song.
I'm even going one step further and go so far as claiming DJ Quik as the greatest all around artist in Hip-Hop. That's not even a argument to be made, that is just facts. But DJ Quik is seriously on that Prince level of musicianship in the entire world of popular music. And don't you just see the similarities. Both staying true to their Home, Prince Minneapolis and DJ Quik Compton. He mastered the Production part of Hip-Hop with incorporating instruments on that next level. He is EASILY my favourite MC of all time. My life Energy is running high when I have DJ Quik and Prince in heavy rotation.
Guess Dre wasn’t the only one who could produce and control the rap flow. Quik been killin those boards. And we’re not going to talk about one of the best on stage ether dissed of all time!!
None of dat lip sync crap, you can just hear they are performing live. And yes, the Snoop Dogs entrance is still better than 99% of modern live concerts. Much love for West Coast ❤️
The media literally came up with that rumor for some reason but thats cap. Eiht wasnt there that doesn't even make sense for him to be there and in the crowd😆😆some of eiht homies was there and they was banging on quik so backstage quik checked em and hit 1 of em and that broke out a whole fight in the club and 1 of the members banging on quik died that night.
@@bassmanoper6659 quik already explained it n a song and in his documentary. Eiht homies pulled up and started trouble. Media just lying just to make quik look a certain way.
@@godloveszaza That was two different occasions, for this instance at the source awards Eiht was there. The instance you mentioned was the one that was at a Soul Trains award after party which was a a few months before this. I'm working on a video regarding their beef so I've been doing a lot of reading about it more lately.
@@EnigmaticEntertainment my bad then because I remember hearing quik talk about it in interviews and songs. Imma sub to you so I can see your vid when you make it.
Man! Quik was loved by everybody. I heard his songs at parties before I even knew who that nigga was. He was statewide and international. Can't hate on that nigga. So smooth.
@Dawud R. all over a bitch, that wolf couldn't have sucka shit, then big meech took out wolf and had mob ties with Suge. Then the west took out biggie the only thing New york had, and they never been the same since.
Death Row owned this entire show performance wise... right after method man...that is lmao. no theatrics just mic and hand. but this was one of the greatest performances ever
@@gemini4lyfe3001Eiht made a song called ‘Def Wish’ where he stated “biting me quick, will mean you get the duck sick quick.” which wasn’t aimed at Dj Quik. But he took it as a shot towards him, and the beef was in full swing.
Death row had that shit on lock fr, miss that west coast hip hop. Really can’t believe quik performed that in front of mc eiht. Quik was ready for whatever 💯
Yooo did DJ Quik say he dedicated the song to his fiancée MC Eiht, then proceed to crush him with a diss record. MC Eiht was sitting in the front row😮😮😂😂😂😂
I remember watching this on tv when it first aired & damn. I didn't know at the time that Mc Eiht was in the audience in clearview when Quik did Dollas & Sense. Death Row played the villains that night to the cazillioneth degree lol
His career didn't get destroyed. But that was a big capital "L" Cos to me that diss track is even harder than Hit 'em up and he did it in his face! People forget this was made before Hit'em up. And needs to be mentioned up there with that as well as NO VASELINE.
Mc eihts career wasn't destroyed and dj quiks career too.... They r good rappers one of the bests.... Second of all mc eiht hasn't been there cuz it has been 1995..... MC eiht said in one interview his first face to face meeting with dj quik was 6 years later after the beginning of their beef.... It means 1997
NO WARNING SHOTS FIRED 🔥 I want my 90s hip-hop back man, these so called artists these days are fucking businessmans, they are not artists. They don’t put their soul into their music. Fucking disgusting.
