Last time it snowed here in VA, all the guys with the lifted trucks came out to play and help tow people out. Most guys in a lifted trucks cant wait to use it and help out.
My 1991 Ford f250 with 1ton rear posi and goodyear wranglers on the back only, could do the same thing. Not quicker but i think it would have pulled it out. I also put 300lb. of sand bags in the bed right over the axle when the snow flies. Helps a lot.
Nate Masse what the fuck is a fods? And GM stands for gay men. I'm in one rn and i would hesitate to take it out of town. Straight ABS problems in GM trucks it's so common and plus Ford is first on race day bud lol. Built without your tax dollars no bailouts suck it.
@@DoctorRickSanchez they didn't need any bailouts because their shops are full and anyone with half a brain know that dealerships shops are what brings in the money and those piece of shit power strokes are fords cash cow ! Your f1fiddy is another big piece of shit money maker .
@@igotajopamerica3040 one of my favorite comments ever read. People just dont understand. Ive had a first gen since i was 15. Im 30 now. Had a 99 1500 z71 till i flipped it 4 times racing. Now i have an 02 2500hd. Never once have i been left on the side or the road.
@@calebwillhelm2635 My first vehicle was a 1977 Full size GMC JIMMY. Heavy half, 3inch lift 33s and camouflaged and true dual exhaust. Im actually the one that started the say" True duel Exhaust" Becouse it was the early 90's and lots of fake duel exhaust was coming out. I not joking either.lol I like Ford and Chevy and Dodge guys having some good fun when they pull each other out! Taking pic and making jokes. A friend got stuck in a spot it was hard to get too. We were just out fishing a couple of miles on two tracks by a river. People 4 wheel there no cell phones back then. He was driving a Chevy. Told me he had no money to get pulled out. I told him stay with the truck ill be right back watch Ill get someone to help just tell them you love fords and this is your dads truck that he borrowed your Ford to haul some cattle and know your stuck in his piece of sh#t chevy!! My friend was a little confused at first till I came back. I walked just down a little bit to were the 4x4 sometimes parked.Sure enough found a Ford guy and his buddy. I kinda told them my friend asked me to walk up there and find someone with a Ford becouse Ford guys will stick together and he would like to brag to his Dad that a Ford pulled out his Chevy. Them guys had me jump in the truck bed and went over and pulled my friend out for free. We had to play along even joke we hated Chevy it was so funny this guy were talking so much trash wishing they had a camera. Only American Truck owners understand That this a truck thing.
The point of using a strap is that they stretch a bit, and can snap the towed vehicle out of whatever's holding it up. Using it as a static pull line is useless, back up a bit, get a bit of momentum, and you won't have a such a hard time.
My stock 89k1500 did this plenty times back when it was stock and had street tires pulled lots of fords, cars and even 2 different semi trucks. Now it has less traction with mud grips
