Just thought id do a little video because we had an insane snowstorm in Fargo! We got 6-8" and another 5" throughout the day. Hope you guys enjoy us messing around in the snow with the duramax!
ITS_SLIM_SHADY124 it’s tuned and deleted with 5” exhaust and aftermarket intake, turbo flutters occur quite frequently and I don’t mind that. Don’t even have this truck anymore, traded up for a 2019.
Keep in mind the editing and time that was skipped. Like waiting for glow plugs, skipped, who wants to here the truck beep for a while? The truck had been started twice before the video as well. Lot of time is removed to reduce the length of video.
man I hate how quiet the new generation of diesel trucks are...i want my neighbors to think there's a tank driving thru the neighbourhood when I roll by
What are you supposed to use? I have always used one on what I drive. Please enlighten me on what product to use. Never been an issue with a brush. The clear coat that’s been on my cars and trucks must have served it’s purpose. Been driving for 32 years.
Hi, my name is Connor, we’re you at pro cart indoors, I saw your red duramax there and I’m like that’s him, me and my freind were racing you it was cool to see you.
Years in Snow here in Montana with every tire you can imagine. Bar none the best tire for HEAVY SNOW was the Toyo M-92 7.50x16 . Those wide Tires are Junk to make it clear for you. Today you can’t find the M-92 but the M-55 is available. Oh and by the way I was driving when Radial tires were invented. Experience speaks for itself.
Old video but have to say all the comments about the amount of snow, not letting the truck warm up, crap tires, how about half the video dedicated to removing the snow off the truck. very exciting.
That's what happens when morons have things and don't actually know how it works, but think they do. Should never "send it" in reverse. Clean jacked up trucks is a good indicator of fucking moron driving that acts and dresses like he's 13
Bill Massing Google the placement for them on the duramax, they are there for a purpose most drivers are unaware until they take them in cause check engine lights on & the service department gives you a bill with the description
John Stevens this truck has been gone for a while, I have a 2019 Duramax now. All my vehicles have full warranty, and if you aren’t full sending when u have a warranty, then you aren’t living life to the fullest
+Jeff Anderson Ya I agree fuck solid front axles I'll take my IFS over a solid front axle all day long. I don't miss my 79 chev at all it had solid front axle it handle like crap steered like shit was anything but smooth and every time you needed 4x4 you'd have to stop get out lock out them stupid hubs. Thus my experience with solid front axle trucks I've own they actually ate up more font end parts then any of my IFS trucks. Just finally had the original front end done on my 98 Z71 Silverado 312 000km and 20 years of use definitely liking my IFS and also I just push a button for my 4x4 none of that reaching to the floor to shift or having to get out to lock out stupid hubs. I also don't miss that pos th400 or that carbed 350. Nice truck I'd like a Duramax but there just so dam expensive going to keep banking up and driving my 98 many in couple years I'll jump up to a Duramax probably only be a LBZ. It's nice to see a nice long box truck when I was a kid I always liked short boxes but now everyone has some some even have a stupid 5ft box now I like the 8ft.
Why dont they go Solid axle? LOL.. tgey all used sllid axles back in tge day.. they went to IFS when Johnny City Boy started buying trucks but not really using tgem, IFS is more comfy. Ill take my solid axle F350 any day
+raptor660 There's nothing city about my IFS Silverado out here on the farm in Saskatchewan. And I can tell you I've had way more problems with solid front axles then I've had with IFS. IFS has proven to be way more reliable and no more stupid hubs to have to lock out. And our F350 farm truck is a pile of junk!
Joshua Frayer wasn’t 3 inches, and I love snow man. The more the better, always hoping for more. As for the boost comment, you have no idea what you are talking about.
@@TurboBoysGarage ummm yeah I kinda do I have a 18 duramax 2500 Denali and I have a 16 king ranch so yeah I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about
Joshua Frayer and you know my truck? You know how much boost I’m pushing? You know what tune I’m running? You know what’s been done to the truck? No I didn’t think you did.
