Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! RU-vid's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of RU-vid!

When you closed the fuel cap I was like -"Nooooo!". You left a bit of the cover to the outside of the cap, he he! :) Must say, this is one of my favorite car, absolutely in my top 5 greatest car, ever. I love that you choose to make it in 1080p. Great job as always, Kyle! Keep it going!

Time on video 09:15...just for information purpose, kyle stated a button for rear engine vent, the button would actually be for a motorized rear wing that was more than likely on the car from the factory. The fixed wings usually did not come on these cars. Reason I know is because I have a 964 (predecessor to this car) and it had the same button but an aftermarket rear wing. Great vid and really nice facility in charlotte.

I had a 1979 911 SC, and it is amazing the similarities to that car and this one, everything from the interior to the engine sound. This model 911, the last air-cooled 911, is the one I've always wanted. However, Kyle if you can find a mint condition 911 SC, I hope you can review it!

CloroxBleach Ferrari or Maserati should be recorded here, not silly annoying, nerve-wracking Porsches or Aston Martins, and to make matters worse, FCI is selling Aston Martins and Porsches when their dealership is too Italian for Aston Martins!

Just for anybody looking at this video with interest in purchasing a 993 now or in the future, note that the oil level gauge (sharing the instrument with the fuel level gauge) is showing way too much oil. On a level surface with engine warm and running it shouldn't go above half way (some would argue even half way is too much). It appears that the Auto Italia guys overfilled it which is BAD,BAD,BAD for these engines.
@treydaypnw
@treydaypnw 9 лет назад
You're Right on with your comment, I've heard the Exact same thing when it come to this Porsche. I hope that they lowered the Oil level some after this Video.

It is a 993 not a 964. 993's were produced from 1995-1998. 964's were produced from 1989-1994. With 22k original miles that car is probably worth $50-60k and rapidly rising.

Hi Dave, I always enjoy your reviews as I find them extremely in depth and detailed. Your knowledge of every car you review keeps me coming back to watch the reviews on all the cars you do. I am a car man, and know all my details explicitly, so I measure your knowledge against mine, and your pretty much on the mark all the time. But, what I enjoy most of your videos is that they are in depth and you seem to cover the car from front to back and top to bottom. Keep them coming. Great Work. Thank You Tim

No I meant 995 and 996 series, yeah I was a bit misleading... I know it's a 993, but these aren't that rare, yet. I've seen 3 in Cyprus last summer. I don't think I've ever seen a 995 close up, and the only 996 I've seen had a shitload of plastic fantastic crap on them. Seriously like, every 996 911 Turbo I've seen had at least one major aftermarket modification... what a disgrace.
@achm3d
@achm3d 12 лет назад
@2004chevybrandon1 true they could be useful for CDs, but I just don't like seeing them in higher end cars like Porsches because it ruins the looks of it. I know low end cars tend to have really basic sound systems and thats why aftermarket ones are put in, but this was over $60K new. I feel its like putting ketchup on a filet mignon steak. There are some that look okay and almost like they're stock, but I really dislike the look of this unit. It just looks so out of place!

There is no such nomenclature as 995 for a Porsche. The 996 are no where near close to extinction, as the 996 were built in abundance actually, the 996 ushered in the first of the water cooled Porsche cars, which are not nearly as coveted as an air-cooled car. What is even more alarming is that 14 people agreed with you, so a lot of misinformation going around. Not knocking you for loving p-cars but know your stuff before commenting. This car is known as a 993.

Good luck finding a 965, there's only a couple hundred of them in the U.S. but yes that BB's car was up for sale recently, I think it went on auction sometime in 2011. Awesome more raw performance of the air-cooled P-car just doesn't seem to compare with the later water cooled versions. The 996's and 997's offer more performance, but less driver feel imo.

To be frank, during 80s and 90s super car makers really didn't bother themselves with creating awesome interior designs (putting leather, wood, carbon or aluminium to dashboards) ... Kinda sad :) But anyway, who cares about interior? It is still legendary cars!

I think you mean 993's. 996's are a dime a dozen, even clean ones. It's the 993 1995-98 versions like this that are hard to find period. This one is exceptional, and I can't help but think that all it needs is a muffler delete!
