Let me know what parts you need. Also selling clean title, very clean frame with engine and transmission as well as ac unit. Basically selling parts and then whats left with engine and tranny.
Just an update and heads up: if you remove the PSE pump for door locks located under the back seat, the car will not start in the later w140 models. From what i read it is 1995 and on. I ran into this issue after video. Pump is programed to car and will only work if programmed to car.
So it’s not necessary to program. This was false information I was told. I made a newer video on my newest s500 and showed you can take a pump from another car and install it no issue
Guys I have already been disassembling the entire vehicle and exciting to say that I will have lots of videos as well as parts available for a lot less than eBay and new. Please comment below if there's a specific part you need and we can work it out
MARCUS JEAN-SIMON i may have something but curretently this radio isnt playing sound but may be blown amp. Also my other cars radio has a volume issue but let me get those things out and see what i have that is good
Hi Pete. Boy, this is an old video - one of the first of your W140 uploads I watched when I discovered you. I am waiting for my 4th 'back seat' pump, scheduled to arrive today from eBay. After watching another guy replace his driver's side lumbar bag, which is essentially 2 halves glued together, tsk-tsk Mercedes. That is likely why my pumps keep burning out. My lumbar has never worked, and I don't need it. So my question is, can you think of a way to determine which hose(s) go to that lumbar bag so I can pinch it off. That way, the pump will think that the bladder is full and stop sending air to it. i.e. a diagram(?) '99 S320 165K miles
Absolutely easy to do. Please message me on instagram if possible. There are different pumps with different options but I can find a diagram to show you.
hey Peter, my drivers door and passengers door both are not closing like before, back doors and trunk are working fine with the vacuum suction. what do I need to check first for any leaks ? the pump under the seat or the trunk?
Keidi Cici under seat is for locks but trunk is for doors. Have you tried pulling the fuse and resetting it first. Basically if there is a slow leak or a malfunction the pump will stop sending suction to whatever door has an issue. You can reset it by pulling the fuse in the trunk
Peter Davidson thank you so much man, i just reseted the fuse on the trunk unplugged it plugged it back in and all the doors are working. You just saved me some money, my mechanic said it was going to cost me a lot of money. You are the man.
Danny Levado i believe its fuse #9. Open trunk and open fuse box agaist passenger side wall in trunk. Look for fuse labeled close assist or something similar. Pull fuse for 30 seconds. Should reset pump
@@petescarport Thx for replying and I know but I can't figure out how to remove the whole pump outta the car..do the tubes disconnect all together at once?
@@chickengrasshead it's a little confusing pulling the wire harness. It kind of slides one way and then pulls off. You want to pull off each hose individual and be careful not to snap. Make sure to label because I don't think those ones have labels. Take pictures of plug and hoses first so you can always look back
@@chickengrasshead also some people don't know this but your car will not start when the pump is disconnected since it is part of the locking system and security. With this said, you cannot use a pump from a different car unless it is programmed by Mercedes. Best to rebuild yours unless it's shot.
I believe certain models (s600 and s500) will go way up. Right now low mileage examples have shot way up in price. Check bring a trailer and you will see some going for $30k and up. Now is time to buy.
@@veronicar4989 a lot depends on where you live and how you sell. Being so low miles it could bring in decent money. Also color and interior/options make a big difference. Since it's the 420 and not 500 that can hurt value a little but it could sell for about $5-10k depending on some of these things. Bring a trailer .com is a good place to list and you can see others that have sold
Unfortunately one of the mirrors sold right away and I used the other one to fix what was broken on my black s500. Also the soft close pump had sold. I am totally down to help you find these parts. Where abouts are you located. Here in Tampa there are tons of these and a lot unfortunately end up at u-pull places. I can see what they have and maybe pull some parts
@@petescarport Thanks I appreciate that but its not necessary I wanted the mirrors just to have extra as I plan on keeping my S class forever..Thanks for your help and the great info in the videos 😎
