Digging the Riviera rims. GM hit a home run with their last gen full size, full frame cars. Even rarer than the Roadmaster Estate; the Oldsmobile 98 Vista Cruiser.
Well Harrison, you've made the best Roadmaster video on RU-vid. As time continues to march on from the 90s, I believe we'll see these B Body behemoths only grow in popularity. The Roadmaster Estate truly must be the best car to drive to the Macy's in background, and definitely to Sears as well.
Jordan Toth thank you so much! I knew you’d like the department store in the background! It’s a great car to take to the mall because you can take advantage all the good deals and discounts you can find. Trunk space will never be an issue.
@@loganlovescarsandmotorcycles sometimes you have to be the one with class, the slobs aren’t going to figure it out themselves. Be the bold one, drive a Roadmaster. Wear a blazer on an airplane. You’ll feel better for it.
Enjoy this car dude. It was the last of its kind. Most of the cars nowadays are just plasticky and cramp to sit in with barely any room. For a car that’s synonymous with soccer moms in the 90s and gramps old car. I’m slowly falling in love with these types of cars. Plus yours is very capable for road trips.
The 5.0L engine was only on the first year Roadmaster Wagon (1991). When the sedan was introduced in 1992 all Roadmasters had the L05 5.7 V8. In 1994 they all had the LT-1.
I just met the guy who made this video- Hale for the Roadmaster ! My 1st car was a 56 Nomad with a 65 Vette 327 two tone Silver and grey. Wagons are Cool !
I see yours has the trailer towing package. Stiffer suspension, larger capacity cooling, engine oil cooler, auxiliary transmission cooler and mechanical fan. Oh and 2:93 rear gears. It also has slightly firmer transmission shifting. I like your 1970s Riviera wheels. much nicer than the aluminum wheels that were the option. But those wheels are pretty heavy. In 1995 and 1996 the "Limited" package was expanded as a Sedan only option from the previous years to also be an option for the Wagons. A 1995 or 1996 Limited wagon is rather rare.
@@ricardofierro7041 All 1996 Roadmasters have "Collector's Edition" hood ornaments. So one cannot tell by the hood ornament. The rear quarter will have "Limited" under "Roadmaster" on a wagon. Whether Sedan or Wagon, Limited is all about the seats. Split frame (seat and back are on separate frames), lumbar support adjustment. For 1995 and 1996: memory seat and heated seats. The upholstery pattern is different between Limited and base. There are other features and options only available on Limiteds too. The base seat pattern is the same for all years. The Limited seat pattern is different between 1994 and earlier and 1995 and 1996. Some features or options on base wagons are not available on base sedans. There is NOTHING special about "Collector's Edition" whether they be wagons or sedans. ALL 1996 Roadmasters were "Collector's Edition". 1991-1994 Aluminum wheels on wagons differed from the Sedan aluminum wheels. In 1995 and 1996 both wagons and sedans had the same (formerly only sedan) style aluminum wheels.
I'm from the UK London I would love to buy one these cars, but man the road tax, insurance, fuel cost is stupidly high here 😔. These cars will very soon become very desirable collector's item.
I'm a Brit (also with Irish citizenship) currently living in Massachusetts USA moving to Athlone in Ireland within the next couple of years - and my pristine (never, ever driven on a Winter road!) 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon that I've owned and cared for for 17 years by now is coming with me too. Always a cherished car and never a daily driver. Looking forward to seeing the Cliffs of Moher with her in a couple of years from now
if you are ever interested in selling, let me know. In Austin TX and looking for one with Towing. Have a 1996 Fleetwood and looking for one of these to be the perfect pair of 96's.
The wheels are STEEL and obviously came from a Riviera. I owned a '96 Roadie wagon with woodgrain delete. When all was well with it, I loved it, however, it was the most unreliable, troublesome car I ever owned. Glad to see it sold.
