Man great video, I’ll be doing this job tomorrow and videoing it on my 99 Deville. I’ve done the same thing before with the 4th bolt on a different car, I was 100% sure it would just go in fine until it didn’t lol

This is the best video on RU-vid to remove the Alternator also from the 2002 model. I checked out the others, aren’t any good. Follow and review a few times, lay out your few tools needed and take your time. Take break , have a coffee and have fun. I went to a junk yard for practice on a good day. Make sure you have battery voltage to the main wire on the back of the alternator and a good case ground the other thing that I would check with depend on year make and model
Thank you so much for this. I'm in the UK with a 2002 model and no garages with any experience. This worked perfectly - though with me crawling under the car on a concrete floor. Btw I didn't need to take the wheel arch panel out. Thanks so much!!!!
