If I'm not mistaking it serves a greater purpose that just emissions and it is critical to the factory operation of the engine. Not only does the stock boost gauge operate off of that sensor but the stock boost solenoid is also partly controlled by that as well.
@@thatonedude5237 No it does not, it's simply to tell if the EGR valve works. 1G's don't even have them. The factory boost gauge and boost solenoid work off of an air flow estimate from the MAF through the ECU. The MDP sensor is solely for emissions. Now if you replace it with an Omni MAP sensor for Speed Density, it's a whole different story.
Bro my air fuel sits at 8.1 idk why I can’t figure it out either I did boost leak test and fixed it all when it warms up it picks up to about 10.1 but that it it’ll stay there never seen 14.7 ever on the widebband , when I drive it right when I hit boost at 4K it’ll stop making power to wheels and act like 2 step and just build boost but doesn’t go
