I started my journey with cars when I first bought a 2010 scion Tc didn't take long until it traded that thing in! I then found a beautiful blue 4g eclipse, I knew nothing about the car (young and dumb) but I thought it was the coolest thing! I then decided hey I'm going to make an instagram page all about my awesome 4g! it was (jakes09eclipse) well that name didn't last long I started getting like 50 like per pic, then decided hey... I like to get featured sooo why don't I just give other people features... well almost a year after starting that account and countless hours I put into it... I now have 16k followers and growing about 100+ new ones a day! Crazy! the isntagram page then ended up leading me to an awesome deal! Im getting my first 2g eclipse! 1997 GSX, this channel is going to be mainly about my journey with the car. Hey man I was building a red 2g around the same time as you with this car. Ive owned these cars on and off since high school and I just wanted to let you know this build was a major inspiration for me and one of the reasons I stuck with my DSM. Hell yeah bro that’s dope! The prices on these cars for a decent one are crazy haha. It’s hard to even find one. I’ve been looking here and there but haven’t found one. Definitely think I’ll get back into them eventually.
Yeah I got really lucky. I bought my GSX from jersey for $650 with a blown engine, but that was in 2018. They are still out there for reasonable prices you just gotta be quick to the draw. Best of luck ! @@TripleDiamonds
I had the exact same problem turns out due to bad motor mounts engine mount had no rubber making the engine pull back. So when it was pulling back it pull pins on top main hardness pushed them right in and started. I felt so happy and I found this out after car was sitting for a yr.
I created my own boost leak tester, but the psi gauge is not going up when I pump it. I tightened the tube as much as possible, is there any other area that needs to be closed off?
Mi GST tiene las mismas características hace el mismo fallo y no eh podido dar con el no entiendo bien el video o lo que quieres explicar por qué no hablo tendiendo muy poco el inglés si pudieras explicarme un poco de resolviste el problema mi carro prendía como el tuyo y no tenia corriente en las 2 bujías del medio tire un cable de una bobina a otra el cable azul y logré chispa donde no había llegue a la conclusión que no podía hacer eso por que a lo mejor debilitaría la chispa de una para ayudar a la otra y tire un cable directo del negativo de la batería a la bobina y ahora el auto no enciende. Que pudo haber dañado? La ECU pudo haber sufrido que ahora no enciende? Antes de la ecu hay algún relay para que no llegue daños a la ecu? Espero que puedas brindarme un support no eh podido llegar a la raíz del problema no me gustaría venderlo… ojalá y puedas ayudarme gracias amigo.

Jakes 4g63 I originally went with the axle back and I had an h-pipe and it was too loud so I stuck a flowmaster on it in place of the H but now it’s too quiet. Can’t win haha
Ok Idk if anyone is listening out there but here goes, so one night it was raining really hard, I parked my car, and got out, got back in 10 minutes later and the car wouldn’t crank, wouldn’t start, I tried to jump it nothing, got my car towed home. I replace the crank and cam shaft sensors, replaced the battery, the starter, the fuel pump, and all the fuses....after this, car now cranks, but that’s it, it just cranks, if I do it long light smoke comes from the engine bay, I mean really light smoke, if u were looking hard u wouldn’t even see it....I am stumped on what the problem could be, I’ve invested a lot of money into this car, and I’d really like to get it running again, it’s 80% modded, full body kit, after I get it running again I’m gonna throw on the fender flares, side skirts and get it wrapped, I swapped the hood for a carbon fiber with air vents it was $1200 the body kit was $700, I’ve put on new headers, ignition coils, please if anyone could help...Mitsubishi eclipse spyder gs 2004
So happy to see someone else struggle with sliding an awd car. Everyone says it's so easy. Depending on the bias, if you throttle hard you might kick the back out or you pull the front end in. **knowing how/what your specific car is capable of ,is paramount!!** Seeing someone in a similar car put on a show, does not mean your shit can do the same.
This is literally one of the best cars the world has ever been lucky enough to have. I saw one on the road just yesterday. Needless to say, I've been unable to sleep since.
