My 2012 Ford Transit 2.2L diesel is just as slow cold starting at -13C while our Mazda 626 2L diesel starts cold -20c like it is summer even after not being started for 6 months... I am lucky that I have not had need to start the car in colder then -13C yet, on rare occasion it can get down to -25c here (North Norway) and 2 hours drive inland it can get -40c ...
I don’t know I haven’t tried it yet :-) This video terminates just before successful start because I had to close the door due to smoke coming from exhaust :-)
You’re right but this version has some “flame” glow plug working below -5 deg C which is the second yellow light from the left. But it seems it doesn’t work and that’s why it didn’t want to start.. But it started at the end (not in video)
