Sorry everyone! It’s a 1998, not 1993! Easy fix to my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 speed sensor. Had a check engine light with code P0720 . Replaced the old with the new and hopefully this fixed it.
Before you changed it, was it giving you the ABS & Brake lights on the cluster too? I’ve been reading that the transmission speed sensor can cause the check engine light and or ABS Brake lights to come on. I changed the sensor on diff but still having intermittent ABS Brake lights on my ‘99 Ram 1500 5.2L. Hope it’s not the ABS module itself 😅.
Autozone sold me a bad sensor. I was chasing my tail. I ended up finding a broken accumulator spring in my trans. So I cleaned my old speed sensor shifts good except not I have to lift my foot off the accelerator to shift out of 3rd.
