Emily is a minor and has no choice in the matter. By law Monica can make her come home. Since when do children call the shots no matter how they feel? That was ridiculous.

NeishaLuvsGH Emily is a minor but was past the age of 14. In which she could choose where she wanted to live. If I remember correctly the minor can choose any relative to live with so long as they’re suitable. Hence this situation.
Jason had no right to be negative toward Monica, if anything he knew she was telling the truth and yet he wasn’t being reasonable to not have Monica hold Michael was a insult. This is why I didn’t like Jason in his prime because he never thought things rational with making one mistake after another. You can see Alan was being sincere about his intentions but Jason hate for the Q’s always clouded his judgement.
