Funny when someone they don’t like does something wrong, they are terrible people. When it is someone they like, they make excuses, emotional breakdowns and such.

Well, they burnt their bridges when they tried to kidnap Michael. And they showed no real remorse about it, mouthing phony apologies to Emily. The only thing that they were sorry for was that they did not get away with it. Remember that Edward vowed that he would have Michael within six months. And this was when still they thought he was really Jason’s son. They did not give a fig for the natural father’s rights until it fit their needs. Jason could not trust them. They lost all rights to respect and did nothing to regain it. I only feel sorry for Monica and Ned. And Jason softened his stance with them as time passed.
