I’ve been in a flood, and Robin wouldn’t have been able to do Anything to stop the water. She would only have put herself in danger for stuff, things that aren’t worth her life! Her priority should have been Michael. I think her main reason was to test AJ, and that Was putting Michael in jeopardy because AJ had no experience with a baby in the best of circumstances, let alone a storm with possible flooding and evacuation.
They were in surgery together. But sh could have called Felicia. Or Robin could have just stayed at the garage. Whatever was wrong with the cottage could what. The cottage belonged to Jax. Let him take care of it.
The problem with Robin is that as an overachiever she has a compulsive need to always tell people what to do, what's right and how to act. Besides the compulsive need to always proving that she is right whenever she is arguing or presenting a point. As an overachiever, Robin being a control freak comes with the territory so it was normal for her to always try to influence other's people lives, behavior and at times even dictate said things. The main problem with overachievers is that sometimes to accomplish their goals they go to the extreme of becoming their worse version of themselves. For instance, they could become manipulators, be deceitful, liars, amongst other things, just to gain control of whatever situation or circumstance they need to get a hold of. In the case at hand, that's exactly what happened with Robin, she needed to be in control of every aspect of her life, her HIV, her future, her studies, and all her relationships, especially her relationship with Jason. Which make her reckless up to the point that she didn't stop to think about the fact we can't have control of everything in our lives. And most importantly, that when you love someone it's not healthy for either one to try to control or to change the other person. That love is defined by the capacity to accept, understand and support one another unconditionally with clear boundaries without any judgements. Unfortunately, as seen throughout their relationship Robin never could do that with Jason. Blessed be!
