The fact that Robin believed what she was saying to Jason is the best evidence that we can provide that even when she said to him that she accepted him and his choices when she went back to him, the truth of the matter was that she didn't accept unconditionally. If she did she would have not brought up A.J.'s issue again to be discussed with Jason. More so, she would have never told him that she didn't want Jason to kill anyone. Those actions let us know that she kept on telling Jason what to do and how to conduct himself and his business. Nevermind, that when she said that she accepted him, as Jason understood it, he thought it was unconditionally but to his surprise now she is talking about the A.J. issue, the Q's and that she doesn't want him to kill anyone. But Robin knew what she was getting into and what he did for a living and now once again, she wants to change the rules of engagement. Of course, this is happening because both of them were living in a fantasy world in which they thought love was going to be enough when they both knew that sooner rather than later they had to deal with the Carly issue. Funny, that's the other part Robin said that she accepted about him, the promises that Jason had made to Michael and Carly. Nonetheless, the truth was that even though Robin accepted Jason, she did so with many unspoken conditions. For instances, she knew she was never going to honor or to accept the promises Jason had made to Carly but she never told Jason. And the fact that she knew that makes her extremely deceitful. Also, in this scene we got to watch what was already brewing inside of Robin since she learned the truth about Michael's paternity. Let's remember that in some ocassions Robin has said one thing one day and then has done another thing the next, especially when something goes against her beliefs or it doesn't go her way. In the case at hand, she has never stopped believing that A.J. is entitled to the truth. The problem she got herself into was that she should have never agreed to keep that secret to begin with because to reveal a secret after agreeing to kept it is an act of the worse kind of betrayal. Finally, we don't understand why people keep mentioning that Michael would have never gotten into trouble if he would have been raised by the Q' s when among them they have killed people too and they have ties with Organized Crime. Alan Quartermaine killed Ray, Karen mother's boyfriend, and then he covered it up. Justus Ward killed Damian Smith and he covered it up. Then he allowed Laura Spencer to be accused and tried for murder. And we haven't even mentioned the fact that ELQ through Tracy Quartermaine has laundered money for the Mob because she was married to a Mobster and had associations with others. So, to us it is evident that the Q's are as unethical, immoral and criminals as they have accused Jason and Sonny to be. At the end, they all are the same. None of them have clean hands. So, for Robin at this juncture to keep making the same argument to Jason it was unfair because it stand to reason for him that between them the whole issue was resolved and done. Unfortunately, it wasn't and that was on Robin. Blessed be!
Exactly. I stand by my opinion that Robin wanted a chance with Jason Q, who didn’t give her the time of day, so she thought that she could get Jason M away from Sonny to have her cake and eat it too. The problem is, Jason M will never be Jason Q, no matter how hard she tries. Also, who doesn’t tell a man what it means to give a woman a diamond ring and put it in her ring finger, but waits until someone else mentions it? Robin explains everything else to him, why not have the marriage discussion when she gave him the ring, in private? Robin didn’t want to have that conversation with Jason, that’s why. An anniversary is the perfect time to have it. Robin wanted to be able to look engaged, but tell people “not now,” which is like saying that they are going to, but “down the road” and she didn’t even ask Jason. AND Robin didn’t have anything to say about AJ needing to know about Michael when she was flashing that ring in front of Emily. Robin is extremely manipulative and controlling.
Robin understood that if Jason killed someone, he could go to jail, especially since now Mac was determined to get Jason. Jason still had his lieutenant mentality, quick to react. His associates told him he needed to be more boss mentality, less lieutenant attitude. I will say Robin was constantly wrong to bring up A.J. as the father, especially in that moment. I feel that Carly and Jason was wrong to lie about who the father was and then call others liars about anything. Emily was the only one in that family with scruples, probably because she didn't have the deviant Q blood running through her veins.
Yeah I get why Robin is ethical because she contradicts herself by putting herself in danger by staying with Jason. But Jason knew what he was doing for himself and Carly and Michael. But Emily is being a good Sister to Jason. Because Emily knows stuff that Robin doesn't know about the Q's. Because that's why I trust Emily over Robin. Because Emily accepts Jason without telling what to do or not to do like Robin does.
Robin is so naive!!! “I don’t want you to kill anyone” little miss “I can handle your lifestyle I won’t ask you to change” she manipulates Jason whenever she can she uses her crocodile tears to get what she wants and when that doesn’t work she pouts. Pathetic this is why Jason left you
I didn't like what robin said about Michael and a.j because did not know how a.j was like robin did not see them or stayed a night at the house with them grill night with Emily.also just when it looks like Jason,Monica are good with each other something happens to change that mostly they are wanting to take Michael alway from Jason and more Jason face experience when seeing robin,Emily,Michael,Monica it was funny and cute,sweet at the same time
Scooring and crawling styles aren't genetic Robin. 🙄 Oh Robin, Robin, Robin. If only you could finally tell the truth to Jason for ONCE in your life. But no, you'll lie to Jason and try to manipulate him into running the business your way up until the very end. The end when you decided that once you couldn't play house with Jason anymore, you decided you just "had" to do the right thing. 🙄
