When people ask "what happened to Lauryn Hill?" I just direct them to the men in her life. The dudes who tried to claim writing credits on her music... Wyclef who played horrid games with her emotions & her ex-husband who screwed around on her like Bob Marley was known for doing, eventually leaving her for a white lady. (Not that race makes it any better/worse, but still). And of course that shady religious guru that convinced her to pull back from her work. So much happened so fast nobody could recover from that. Poor thing.

And you best Believe a new album is coming and it’s gonna change the whole entire world once again!!! 20 years ago I was telling people Lauryn was coming back and nobody believed me until she started making appearances again. She’s been gone for a long time and she has a lot of things to speak about…20+ yrs of silence and on the day it drops , the whole world will listen!! I pray that her team makes strategic decisions. The album should be special order in a way that Lauryn and her family gets all the $ she deserves. Keep your 👁 open ❤️
@@CueBoy28 I'm a big supporter too (since i first heard Boof Baf) and i actually saw her live 5 times since 2005 so best believe i keep my eyes open😉. But i dunno about an album anymore. She's such a perfectionist, the pressure of topping Mised seems to be too strong. I thought she had a serious shot 5 years ago...but at the same time anything is possible, i agree a new album would definitely shock the world especially in these current difficult times...
