Also came in a near identical rebadged version called the Lexus LX450

One of the best 80 series I have ever seen on RU-vid. Almost impossible find a gem like this anywhere in the world. I wish it had OEM rims. I love it front and rear factory differential locks.

I have a 95 vxr manual with a 97 body. Rolled over 15years ago when it only had 30k on it so we bought a whole new body. Engine and frame and chassis were perfectly fine just the roof crushed 15 years later and she has 170k nd runs like. Same exact color as yours silver, leadish blue, and gold grill and ornaments, same decal too. Love it. The trunk doors are left to right on mine, not up and down. But thats after we out a new body on it, the 95 one was up and down. U just earned a subscriber from Sana’a, Yemen. Great video.

The cool box is designed for cans… fits 12… the “cup holder” on the side is actually designed for cans also … they fit perfectly and it holds them tight, no spills ! Great design.

12:08 the diesels are more popular than the Petrol engines due to the fact that they're bomb proof. the lc80 was not for speed, its literally a Land Cruiser. The 1hdt and 1hdfte are the top guns when searching for an lc80.

You should try the diesel one. A commercial 1hdt or the japan hdj81 I don't entirely agree with the diesel version being slower. My daily car is a japan 1hdt 80 and it drives exceptional even for its age. Good review though! Subscribed!

On a lot of your videos you mention "high beam height" switches. Those actually are interior dash brightness switches.

I failed to notice that some of them are continuous switches, the ones for high beam heights usually got the numbers 1-3 on them and they click. My bad. Thanks for pointing them out 😅😅

You inspired me to get a lexus. I recent brought a 02 Lexus Lx470 with only 140k. There are a few problems I need to get second opinion on the cause. 1. The car makes a cluck sound as it decelerates. It up shifts very smooth. Trans fluid looks good (darkred). What do you think the cause is? 2. This might be related to issue 1, when shifting between R to D there is a massive cluck or a kick. Your input on what the issues maybe will he greatly appreciated.

Yup! They only made the LC80 until 97 in the US. Many other countries continued production even until the mid 2000s

The Philippines is one of the few countries in Southeast Asia that uses ONLY LHD cars. Unlike in America where you can import old RHD cars past 25 years, we’re absolutely not allowed to have RHD cars here :(( Some were allowed to be imported in the past, and be converted, but most were really sketchy conversions, and importation of used vehicles have all been banned except for some special concessions :(((

Thank you! Yes, you’re right. I thought before that it was air suspension, but apparently it was hydraulic self-levelling. Sorry about that. 😅😅

It's not a bullbar at all, it's a brush guard. In the Land Cruiser world they're referred to as "damage multipliers." In a big accident, they offer zero protection. In small accidents, the bar will actually bend into the body, and cause more damage than if you didn't have it. They are ultimately only an aesthetic, but offer nothing functional.
