I always considered Borla S-Types and SLP Loudmouth2s almost the same in sound, however the longer casing of the Loudmouth2s gives it a higher pitched exotic sound over the shorter case deeper sounding S-Type. Oh and the Pype M80 Racepros are basically the same sound as the S-Types and Loudmouth2s but NASCAR loud like the Magnapacks.

@@ThatLoud3v first if all a 3.8 liter v6 with straight through mufflers WILL sound different than any V8, you were better off with a 2 chambered 40 series muffler or 1 chambered 10 series since Flowmasters are rich with tone sound. SLP Loudmouth1s are nothing but straight pipe noise while SLP Loudmouth2s are just a higher pitched sound version of what these Borla S-Types are but $200 cheaper.

@@PilloAustin You running headers? I have this exaust with stock exaust manifolds, and cats. It sounds pretty good. Actually just like the one in the video. That off road h pipe make a big difference for ya? I was thinkin bout just deleting the cats. It's too quiet for me.

Thanks for the idea of replacing the hangers while I already have it off, preventative maintenance is always good. I plan on getting an automatic because I wanna be the first one to beat the heck out of it 🤣

I bought this kit last week for my 03 Cobra. I like the deep tone but it’s just too damn loud. If it was half as loud I would be happy. Plus I don’t like all that popping but it makes. But, It’s a very nice kit and it fit very well.

Unfortunately, These will only work on the V8 with standard style short headers. I am very sorry but we do not have anything at this time for the V6 platforms.

@@WiseUpRiseUp42 the loudest exhaust set-up that i had on my 2v was bbk shorty headers bbk O/R X-PIPE and slps loudmouth mufflers basically "straight piped" that shit was so fucken LOUD that my friends told me that they could hear me comeing more than a half mile away! 🙉 lol to me it sounded like complete ass😖 but my friends loved the way my car sounded tho lol it was just loud with no tone to it😖 My current exhaust set-up that i have right now is bbk longtubes headers bbk O/R H-pipe and flowmaster super 44 mufflers i love it for me it just sounds like pure American muscle exhaust tone💪🏼 and i get a lot a compliments every now and than so that's a plus i hoped i could help u✌🏼

Hello Rick! The Pypes M80 Mufflers are more comparable to the Borla ATAK mufflers so, you are correct! They will be a little louder than the Borla Stinger mufflers. If someone wants a good sounding exhaust but does not want it too over the top, the Stinger set up will be the way to go. Thank you for your feedback!

@@ThatLoud3v you had them Loudmouth1s which is nothing but a piece of pipe with no perferated tube inside. And when you run them with no cats and with aftermarket headers God help, the only tone you get is a earpiecing trumpet sound.
