If its what im thinking of, the forward side of the throttle body has the purge valve hose. If its not the one ill take a look at my car. Its currently 0300 so i cant go out and see 😄
Hi. Thanks for your videos. I need videos explaining Mercedes w202 c230 kompressor oil separator hoses. One hose come from top of motor to oil separator. Other hose goes from oil separator to dipstick ( which carry separated oil). Third tube goes from oil separator and splitting to air filter box and intake vacuum line. I know air filter box sucks air from oil separator. But I don't understand intake vacuum hose functions. Please give some information about thus.
Sorry for the late reply. To my understanding, oil vapor enters the separator and loose oil drips down to the dipstick. The small hose you mentioned comes off the kompressor which has pressurized air and it seems it produces a draft in the separator hose to aid the vapor separation before entering the air filter. I really hope it makes sense
I sincerely apologize for not replying. Im still new to this youtube thing. I havent taken that unit off but upon observation it seems to have what looks to be a paper gasket or rtv. It could have been serviced before. I wish i could be more help
I havent gotten around to repairing the leaks. I will be doing a front crankshaft seal service soon and ill TRY to do both. If i dont, ill at least make an update video for it
