Ive owned 4 of these cars all one litre. Nippy and ultra reliable the only major flaw is the rot in the sills. Its a shame the banger boys like to smash them up. Long live theis fab little car. Thank you Nissan.
I'm sorry but the only thing that's holding me back is the crash test, like Micra owners it's a fucking tin can you'll either break your legs in it or provably die. How the fuck was more popular then the Toyota Starlet which even in the 90's was more safer.... I just don't get it
Different era. In every other way than crash safety it's quite robust which is why people bought it. Plus back then cars were smaller/lighter in general, you weren't surrounded by SUVs, and expectations just weren't as high for crash ratings. As far as choosing to drive one now, I do agree with you and it puts me off.
