So I've heard. Part of the reason I went with a Micra for a track car, they are reliable, light weight, seems to handle well with coilovers+tyres and the 1.3/1.4 are not crazy slow. 👍
I must say, people tend to put too fast good cars into scrapyard. I seen a lot of working good cars going to scrapyard because of minor issues. I think this is often a "city owners" issue, since on the country they got more people who know how to fix things and in reasonable price too.
Yes, I actually prefer without sun roof. However the sills are pretty bad on some places. Not bad enough to fail MOT though. When/if it fails inspection I will replace the rocker panels. 👍
Wanna save a Volvo s70? Its in Norway. Its got plenty of car left, and its mechanically sound. Mot til november 2023. But the hidden rust... Is bad... :c needs new rockers.

Jag köpte min för 18 tusen, knappt en mådand sedan. 99864km på mätaren. 2002 årsmodell 1,4 med 5 dörrar. Knappt någor rost, dessutom med fungerande AC. Kända fel som nämdes av bilfirman är ; Tutan fungerade ej, tändning låset kärvar. Fel som jag har märkt: stötdämpare runt om kring, båda drivknutar, luftmassa mätare(P0100), temperatur givare insugluft (P0110), Bränsle/luft blandning för mager (P0171) På kvällen var väldigt mörkt i mätaren. När vi byte dessa små glöd lampor som låg bakom mätaren.Då märkte vi att båda motorlampan samt ABS lampan lyste konstant. Bilfirman var inte inreserat att åtgärda dessa fel. Jag hoppas att det inte kostar allt för mycket för att åtgärda dessa fel. Genom den vägen har jag hittat din Micra K11 projekt.
