1999 Sample WuTang Dunk Custom Highs & Lows
In today's episode of Customs with Vick, we have a custom Wu-Tang dunk high and low that Vick was inspired from the sample pairs releases back in 1999. If you don't know who Wu-Tang is, Wu-Tang Clan is an American hip hop group formed in Staten Island, New York City, in 1992. Its original members include RZA, GZA, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Masta Killa. Close affiliate Cappadonna later became an official member. Wu-Tang Clan is regarded as a highly influential group in hip hop, helping to popularize and develop the East Coast hip hop and hardcore hip hop styles. Vick Starts off by printing out a stencil of the Wu-Tang logo and proceeds to get it laser engraved. Next, he paints the engraving black to match the sample. Lastly, he replaces the tongue stitching to include the logo. Vick then moves onto the low dunk and proceeds with the same steps. This slight detail made the shoe pop!
