I have the 1999 hyabusa, nothing comes close to this beast, unrestricted, the first generation, long live this great legend. Thank you suzuki... Regards shand...
There is a man who lives in a Small town in the countryside in France he drives one loves it, and wait for it he's 89 years of age, he pulled up took off his gear and was in great Form
That's really awesome. I wish could find a brand new 1999 but i know that's impossible. I had a 2007 that got stolen. Just got a 2022 hayabusa in black/copper
I'll be taking delivery of my 2017 busa soon and am actually very happy to watch this video... A great tribute to the immense power and heritage of the Hayabusa.
I am rocking out a gen 2 Busa front end on my 97 modded Blackbird 1100XX!!! I love the 1999-01 Busas they are the nicest Busa!! Like my XX I bet busa owners love their bikes as much!!
These first gens are now getting hard to come by stock, but this is the 1999 model year. You can find most hayabusa from up to the 2020 model years in most of some dealerships, and mostly in Suzuki Dealerships.
@@jayflash2035 1stGen can hit 194-200 mph Stock 2ndGen can hit 203-208 mph Stock 3rd Gen can hit --- - --- mph Stock Without Electronically Limited Top Speeds Just Supercharge or Turbocharge it to smash Ninja H2R & Panigale V4R 😂
love that you put fast bike magazine movie in your video haha....also do you know that An American called Bill warner has done 312Mph and 296mph in a mile on a Turbo charged Suzuki Hayabusa and Becci Ellis in England has done 264mph in a mile on the busa....Incredible machine...for me the looks is just amazing
Yea....I still have my CBR....I should get the Go Pro hero 5 Black and start recording my journeys. that bloody ULEZ Emissions zone is coming in 2019 to London and so I want to record my journeys for memory sake, when 2019 comes, to go to central London or Zone 1 you will have to pay £12.5 for bikes before 2007
I have owned 100 motorcycles. The Hayabusa is the best by far. It is my last. I have seen 100's of bikes new, and exotica. And none turn my crank like a 1st Gen Busa. 1999 Copper Yeah Baby!
Nice bike. The Gen I history is exactly all its got. Apart from being the original bike with the high speedo is about it. The Gen II is better looking, more modern, better handling. much more powerful and unrestricted is faster. I had both generations but the Gen II is light years ahead particularly in suspension/geometry. Its much more comfortable. I suppose we will see how the generation III fairs in the future 👍
I don't know man, haven't tried a gen 2 but my gen 1 rides like a dream. Insane torque, fun and capable in the twisties and bonkers speed. Can't imagine how nice gen 2 must be then.
Love the gen 1 hayabusa, had 5 of them. Have to say the zx12r is just as good and slightly faster. I'm only talking a tiny amount that will never make any difference. Zx12r at moment, next bike? Probably a hayabusa,,,, again.
I remember when Performance Bikes magazine tested a mildly modified 1st gen GSX1300R, against a similar modified ZX-12R, took them to European motorways where they could hold the throttles wide open for miles and miles, result was the ZX-12R was faster by about 3 mph, and made a few more BHP on the dyno. A small enough difference that it didn't really matter.
Still one of the best.....................I am biased as on my third 1999 derestricted..............doesn't matter what goes wrong everything goes wrong in time
Restricted to give competition a chance. Best engine ever. Yet my last 3 bikes have been triumph. My latest a rocket 3. But still I love the Busa. Not practical for me 2 up riding. Will always regret not owning one.
Like most big modern bikes, they are very docile and easy to ride, until you twist the throttle wide open. Ride one normally and you will be shocked how civil they are.
Their! The standard in our time! On top of the dyno developed flashtune... Yoshimura now has stage 1 cams! Proven in Japan in roadracing the 80ci Buuuuuuuuuuusa! Wanna rip. Same torque. Until u hit 9000 r.s... Then tuck & hold da bars dawg! 3rd to 4th... Richard J... Susanna
I am on my third 99 model and agree with everything in the video...........I would do as I am biased............Still nothing to touch it today........I bet someone will say GSXR1000, Kwacker H2 etc..............but you can only ride for about 20 miles without stopping to rest your wrists and legs etc........ 1300r just keeps going
For those who don’t know the Hayabusa is a Japanese bird know for dive bombing at incredibly fast speeds to kill black birds. I believe that’s why Suzuki named their 1300 the hayabusa when Hondas top bike was the super blackbird.
Omar Cuenca depends on how confident you are.almost twice the weight of the 600 and especially gen 1 hopeless on tight corners.but for a long ride much more comfortable
adikxx83 Lol stop defending your ownership of a slower bike, flash the fuck outta that ECU and it would reach 330 km/h, why? Because Aprilia RSV4 reached 328, and Th4 new L7 has a better power-to-weight ratio. R.I.P Hayabusa 1999-2017
I help anytime listen man i quite frankly don't give a damn about all that nonsense u came out with.I don't give a damn what u or anybody else thinks is the fastest bike or car out there. That kind of stuff is as important for me as yesterday's weather. There are as many opinions on this subject as many people involved in the discussion so seriosuly mate whatever you say 100 of others will negate. What's the point of all that childish and nonsensical debate?
I looked at both and bought a xx Better looking more stable and fast enough for anyone The suz looks like a blob next to an xx even if it's a tad faster if you can find the place to use that top end
I have had both and the xx is a better all around bike. my 01 xx is the best bike I have ever had or ridden when taking everything into account. The busa is an awesome bike though.
Honda still winns re quality and rideability would willingly give the extra few M.P.H. up for a Honda and lets be honest where can you do 150 plus anyway ??? Sadly its always the mach o man that comes to these machines when the reviews come into play !!
Got to love the fan boys that over look facts to make their case look relevant, this guy clearly has his head stuffed somewhere North of the South end of a busa 😕
