Tickets for my upcoming album release concert on October 6th 2023: www.easyticket... Original score by Sheet Music Boss: www.musicnotes... Original Video: • RUSH E #challenge #piano #impossible
It's great fun, Annique, to see you work through this. And my compliments for how fast you went through this challenge. Really. Seriously. The piece to me is rather vulgar and makes me wonder, when is she going to play "music".
Please don‘t add that error sound anymore… I think seeing the red X is enough, and I would love to hear the actual mistake. I find it amazing how big the differences are between an obvious error and an error that I cannot detect without knowing the scores or the piece itself. And that sound is absolutely horrific 😅
Wow! I didn’t expect you to do Rush E! I remember having some issues with the B minor modulation, it’s incredible to see how much clarity you have on those right away. This was a pleasant surprise haha, well done!
This was fun to watch! However I prefered it when there was no false note sound blended in, because without it makes hearing you play eaven more enjoyable
@@nerd6414 when did I say I dislike this? Additionally... you seem to be completely unaware of the joke going around where people are challenging others to play Rush E and have people judge them on it or just enjoy it. Probably why it was her brother who told her to do this... Here's a video on it which has 3.8 million views... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-on4IoQ2MQ7M.html and here's the judge ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zV-GZPj0BmQ.html All you got to do is type Rush E then the whole world opens up.
In general repeated notes are at a certain tempo impossible to play on an upright since its mechanic doesn't allow these executions. In this regard uprights are pretty much inferior to grand pianos
Not only that but it doesn't help. A grand has a much richer sound than an upright, it's not even comparable. You have much more control over the sound coming out of the piano with a grand than with an upright.
@@pretzelkch8322 yes it’s due to gravity and the way the hammers are placed. An upright will never repeat at the speed of a grand even if it’s a 50k Steinway upright
I do agree with most comments, that the red cross would be enough when you make a mistake. But I can still hear the mistake, it's not cut by the buzzing noise
Never get tired of watching these series, I feel a little bit different since I love piano, I hope I will be a classical pianist just like you when I can afford one. Great performance and fun to watch, keep it up ! 😄
@@hi-hc3ms Toxic? A) Obviously I know Rachmaninoff is brown bread, and B) Saying the world wasn't ready for his music is saying how good it was. You've totally missed the point. It was a joke the same way people say similar things to the multiple Beethovens and Lizsts in the YT comments. Hope you've enjoyed pissing on my cornflakes
@@jeremybeadleslefthand480 😂 someone have try to defend me !... thank you if he see but you’ve understood everything, Jeremy 😂😭 however Rachma is my favorite composer forever 🤩 (And I will use « pissing on my cornflakes », I think)
Please stop making these irritating noises with x mark, just leave x mark with no sound, in my opinion it would be much more pleasant to watch, and also we will learn to listen for the mistakes this way
very niceeeee, I wish you didn`t put a sound for when you make a mistake, I think its ok to signal with the red X, but there is no need to put a sound to it~!
This is really specific, but the transition to one hand playing at 9:38 sounded unbelievably good for some reason. Like for some reason that's the coolest segment of repeated E noted I've ever heard lol.
Nice vid, as always. May I suggest the red X for the mistakes without the buzz sound? Even if you make a mistake the music still sounds good, but the loud buzzing a lot away from the experience of the video. Thank you.
Wow. Absolutely incredible. I wish I started when I was younger. Ive bewn playing 2 years I'm currently on my grade 3 and I love it. This was inspiring. I try to practice 70 minutes a day 4 days a week. Your discipline to your craft is amazing ❤️ ps what is the model of your piano please?
U did amazing. Only the thing is u went a bit too fast in the beginning. And the buzzing sound is really not needed. But again i would have never done this myself, u did an very nice job!!
What do you do prior to the 1 minute? Do you read the sheet music first without playing? Imagine fingering problems and solutions? Did you form an idea of how the composition is structured and layered? And did you read up in the composer and piece to get an idea of its context that might drive your interpretation? It would be very enlightening if you could share that process (in case you go through that).
Hi, I love your stuff, but this "bööööb"- sound around every ❌ is a bit annoying 🙊🙃 Just my opinion 🤷 Thanks for all the things, I 've learned with your videos! 😊
Love these videos... Could you consider partita N2 by Bach? It’s pretty short and not as difficult on a technical level. (Your staccatos made me think of that piece)
What Keys has shown us: *Practise makes perfect* *It's ok to lose* *If your into something with a lot of concentration, you can get jumpscared by basically anything*
For me it sounds a lot like traditional Finnish folk music. In the village I come from, there are accordion competitions for 6-11 year olds where they have to play songs like this that are equally challenging. In general, your worth as a human being is measured by your ability to play those trad. songs flawlessly on any instrument.
@@juunasjohn9401 Finland is much more than just Sibelius, and they've never gotten the credit they deserve for maintaining much of their folk traditions in music. Some would say, "Finland? Russia? What's the difference?" Okay, it's mainly Russians saying that.
In my opinion u did really well, especially when u have the fingerings practiced in less than 2 hours...and yet Ur still playing masterpieces :D,btw, the first part isn't that fast, try to slow down alittle, might help, first 30 seconds?or so....
Hey! Wondering what technique you use to play the E with your right hand at the beginning of the piece? I would love to be able to repeat a note that fast. Thanks!
I’d write it as 143214321 and so on, meaning that you start with your thumb and then your fourth finger followed by your third finger and so on. It’s used to play repeated notes in a lot of classical pieces.
I think it’d be amazing if you did this challenge with some pieces that weren’t originally written for piano but have rather been transcribed at some point. I’d love to see it done with Weber’s overture to Oberon (not the Liszt version), as it is a very beautiful piece and perhaps challenging enough.
for all of those who ask to remove buzz sound at the mistakes, I think it's actually quite understandable. I think these challenges are more meant for non musicians so mistake buzz give a stronger message and point out some mistakes many might not notice. Ofc as musician i'd love to see the whole thing without any interruptions but i think this works better as youtube video. As we know you can't have both a super technical and also successful youtube video anymore so I am totally ok with this. I think on her patreon you can check the whole vod out with no edit but I guess most wouldn't spend money to watch it so that kinda proves my point. Again many like me agree that buzz sound should be removed to enjoy more, but I just think it could also happen to just be part of this video that makes it better for youtube than let's say a documentary/documentation. It makes it a better entertainment for most i think. (p.s. i am not saying non musicians want the buzz in but if ur willing enough to comment then you're probably among the 0.2% of those who watched, or 3% of those who liked, that cared enough about such thing. Be mindful that many others didn't even bother)
@@rosegranger2872 On a grand piano, the strings are hit with down gravity since it landscape it so it makes hitting notes easier. On an upright it is hit vertically 90° to the keys so it requires more to hit a note
I would love to hear Czardas Monti as a future challenge!! You're still baffling me on how the hell you managed to play the same note that fast lol, my piano does not side with me on that one! Great playing and I hope your studies are doing well XD
Can't believe can't believe can't believe, same music (piece) I'm starting today, if I might add, this music starts in a slow tempo then it gets faster
Please, don't call it "fingerings"... the correct term is "diteggiatura"!!! (from "dita", that in Italian means "fingers") By the way, You're Great!!! :)))
