Music: www.bensound.com Elkhart Indiana, I was ther covering the Trump Rally after I got the footage I needed I decided to check out the downtown area and this is what I found. Thank you Postal Employee for being Professional.
This guy needs to give lessons to all the lame auditors and there are a lot of them. What is it about auditing that makes some of these fools think you want to watch 10 minutes of them walking around taking footage of trees and buildings. People watch because they want to see tyrants getting educated and humiliated. Cut to the chase (conflict) and forget the rest.
Wish i knew you were downtown that day. If you were looking for a fight I could have help you out. They were asking simple questions and you wanted to be a dick. Stop being a dick and a drain on society. Your more then welcome to cone back to Elkhart and i will even take you to supper at Texas Roadhouse for steak and beer and we can talk normal... maybe just maybe i might understand you and this video some
@@donaldlehman1479 I am not a cop-hater. I like most cops. I am not a libertarian. I respect the law. I am 72 years old and have all of 3 traffic citations (one for a "crawling stop" and two for speeding - not over 10 mph). I understand what these guys are doing. I agree with how most of them conduct their "audits" or whatever you want to call them. Some are ignorant and taunting. I don't like those, but fortunately or unfortunately, they too are asserting their rights. Too many times I have seen too many law enforcement officers sent out to check out people like these and spending too much time. Yes, video-taping facilities like this is "unusual" for those not familiar with the law (including, unfortunately, too many officers who either don't know the law or are deliberately ignorant of it). One other point: the refusal to provide I.D. information, when I first became familiar with these activities, I thought it was rather "petty" to refuse a police request, but now I understand. Police Officers have (justifiable) a lot of discretion. There are too many of them that will use their discretion for issuing petty citations on people that have treated them disrespectfully. Armed with one's identification, they are more able to find (for example) your vehicle registration and begin harassing with petty violations - and even sharing the information with their peers or other jurisdictions. Too risky. So who's right and who's wrong? Well, I don't have the cojones to do that stuff. But I certainly derive some benefit by knowing my rights and by those (admittedly few) law enforcement officers knowing that with video around, they are more accountable. Such are my thoughts. Cheers.
Captain Ron I understand your comments i just don’t see why the reason to antagonize them if you have nothing to hide. I’m noth trying to start arguments or anything but I believe the officers think we all are guilty at first because of all the riff raff out there or the area your in. I know that’s bad thinking and actions but if you go through a rough area don’t you assume everyone is bad and even might lock your doors. I’m not a poster boy for being a great person i have had issues with officer before where I thought wtf what a power tripper.
NineInch Nails Ditto!!! Minus the Hoosier part of your comment LOL I’m from Illinois !!! Long live the Midwest. Indiana news is welcomed out here anytime !!!
You probably caused that cop to go on stress leave, I bet he cries himself to sleep now. Keep up the good work, you didn't say a word more than you needed to, very inspirational. Cheers from Canada !
I love what you're doing! Keep it up! Keep them honest! "Don't tie your shoes together" hahahaha i love seeing this in my area (Ft. Wayne) keep up the great work!
To the Officer Badge number 456. I got these words to say to you.THANK YOU! Thank You for your PROFESSIONALISM in identifying yourself and your character to respecting citizens RIGHTS! YOU ROCK!
That was a great audit. Where do people come off thinking they have some control of others on public property. It's called public property for a reason.
Dude, Grand Slam! I LOVE this style of audit. You went on offense. You took control of the conversation with the cop and FORCED him to say if he suspected you of a crime. All auditors should do that.
Oh you're good I'm ashamed to admit that this is the first time I've encountered your channel and I'll be watching many more of your audits stay safe brother my respect from the UK Manchester oh yeah subbed too 😀
OK ,,, Normally Not a big fan of the USPS Vids .. But this one is Awesome .. Good Job ... The ones where they go inside and Mill around seems like they are instigating a response .. This one was on target , to the point and handled perfectly ! Good JOB !
Cage11 ..He's an idiot , After being told to research on poster 7..then told by cameraman that no offense was being commited then confirmed by cop....Then telling the cameraman the law of what he can't do...finally an educated IDIOT.
Very well done! Excellent! No hesitation on responses, to the point, and invisible hands push back on asserting your rights. A big plus for winning back what already belongs to the American People. What was fought for a long time ago. Our FREEDOM! Thank you!
Except for incorrectly stating that _USPS Poster 7_ says that recording by the public is permitted *WITHIN* their building, when it does not, the audit itself was superb and I think how you pull out a notebook with the appropriate Laws is a brilliant idea.
Photographers are stopped, harassed, and even intimidated into handing over their personal property simply because they are taking photographs of subjects that make other people uncomfortable. Examples have included photographing industrial plants, bridges, buildings, trains, and bus stations. For the most part, attempts to restrict photography are based on misguided fears about the supposed dangers that unrestricted photography presents to society. Ironically, unrestricted photography by private citizens has played an integral role in protecting the freedom, security, and wellbeing of all Americans. Photography in the United States has an established history of contributing to improvements in civil rights, curbing abusive child labor practices, and providing important information to crime investigators. Photography has not contributed to a decline in public safety or economic vitality in the United States. When people think back on the acts of domestic terrorism that have occurred over the last forty years, none have depended on or even involved photography. Restrictions on photography would not have prevented any of these acts. Furthermore, the prevalence of camera phones has resulted in the prevention of crimes and the apprehension of criminals. As the document states, there are not very many legal restrictions on what can be photographed when in public view. Most attempts at restricting photography are done by lowerlevel security and law enforcement officials acting way beyond their authority. Note that neither the Patriot Act nor the Homeland Security Act have any provisions that restrict photography. Similarly, some businesses have a history of abusing the rights of photographers under the guise of protecting their trade secrets. These claims are almost always meritless because entities are required to keep trade secrets from public view if they want to protect them All rights reserved.
That by far is one of the best audits! And your come back with don’t go home and beat your wife or don’t tie your shoe gather!!, absolute best answer you could’ve given, love it! Great job+ great video!! Be Safe..
WOW. That was by far the best audit I have ever seen. You handled them exactly how they should be handled and you held your ground. No more of this NNH "I was just getting ready to leave." bullshit. NNH, NNC, California Guardian and the rest of PINAC ,take notes gentlemen, this is how it is done. Best audit ever.... how do I donate?
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS: WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE DETAINED FOR TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS Taking photographs and video of things that are plainly visible in public spaces is a constitutional right-and that includes police and other government officials carrying out their duties. However, there is a widespread, continuing pattern of law enforcement officers ordering people to stop taking photographs or video in public places and harassing, detaining, and arresting those who fail to comply. The right of citizens to record the police is a critical check and balance. It creates an independent record of what took place in a particular incident, free from accusations of bias, lying, or faulty memory. It is no accident that some of the most high-profile cases of police misconduct have involved video and audio records. The ACLU has fought-and will keep fighting-to ensure that the right to film and photograph the police is respected by law enforcement officials. All rights reserved.
The best part was after he asked for ID. You hear the sound of your velcro opening...we think you're going to get your ID and lo and behold you bludgeon him with the statute that tells him when he is allowed to obtain your identification. Sweet move!
all cops hate it when citizens know their rights and assert them // and like always the same ole questions is asked ( What are you doing ? ) just what does it look like i am doing - holding a camera taking pictures -- then reply I am on safari looking for evidence of some kind of Intelligence on this planet and by the looks of i have not found any yet
FLAWLESS VICTORY! Absolutely LOVE the way you shut down that stupid SMURF. And you don't even need a DHS memo or Poster 7. You're stood on a sidewalk. You can photograph and video ANYTHING from public space. You know that.
Your quick, to the point, I love it!!!! Some auditors get aggressive and start name calling and acting hostile, to me that defeats the whole purpose of the visit. The more direct, factual and non aggressive you are seems to drive the point home even harder that you are there legally and are under no obligation to explain yourself to know one, including the police!! Keep up the great videos!!
The postal worker who apologised. FUCKING HATS OFF TO YOU, MY MAN. You are a good guy who made a mistake and had the strength of character to admit your error. A rare breed indeed.
