Former Blue Island IL cop here...I have never heard of any police dept being this cowardly. If I were a parent trying to rescue my child, God help any of these sissy "officers" who would have tried to arrest me.
The Ulvalde Police should have given their lives saving these kids. I was a Cop for 28 years and I am astonished at the cowardism displayed in this event.
That was the police chief The only way to stop the officers was the on scene critical incident commander And it was the police chief He should have stayed out of it or assignd someone else. This on scene commander waited for radios. Which they didn't work inside the school because of a weak tower signal This they were only communicating by phone. The border patrol were the only ones who had a signal. He waited for rifles. He waited for shields, SWAT, and wanted keys that was not needed. There was no knock box outside the school with the key they would have needed. He decided to do a hostage negotiation with the shooter. If those officers had been told the kids were in the room at the beginning they would have went in. They pulled the training records that they were have ti be done. They reported this kid went on social media talking about a school shooting He took dead cars into school in a bag He dressed up as an active shooter One teacher said she was terrifid of him. He contacted a kid in Germany that morning he was ready an started out with his family He at a point asked a relative to buy him a gun and they said no. Yet not one person(s) reported this kids actions. He knew all the weak points of that school. They said he had 8 months to plan all of this BTW at the time he and his grandmother had a joint account , he had saved money from a job he had worked This sadly here is another school that needed a lot of security updates, and it was brought up, like still so many others and we all should be pissed off about that too. I watched that entire 5 hour senate hearing with all the inital invest which was still going on. I actually took notes on this one. You knew that police chief;s a## was going to get him legal trouble And happy to see see him get arrested for a piss poor job. And he was unco-operative to do his interviews with them. The prosecutor had to wait until all the invest was done, the paperwork was done before she could file charges.
This was a FEDOP. Think bigger. You are being mentally manipulated. They provided you a guilty person, now you are ready to memory hole it. Great. What did you learn? The truth? Not even close.
Only because you weren't there. Easy to talk shit behind a keyboard. Those officers lacked good leadership, good Intel, and the school failed to employ proper security protocols.
@joaopedrobaggio4475 it's the push for a national police force. How many federal "chiefs" are being indicted for this? None. There were feds there, hold them accountable too. How many school admin are being held accountable for failure follow protocol? None. Push it all on the fall man
When will our TOP official be held accountable for all the attacks against American citizens especially women and children by criminals coming across our border?
Excellent question. Here's another: was it just cowardice that immobilized those Uvalde cops, or were they accessories to a mass murder, i.e., was the killer performing human sacrifices to Satan?
They waited 45-70:minutes armed to the teeth! Cowards everyone! Shameful 😡 Buddy you are absolutely right on all of the different events that have taken place in our poor sad country! Go Trump and please God bless the USA!
I spent 35 years as a police officer and there is no way I could not have not gone in that school even if my chief say not too. I think they are all cowards.
@@JohnnyUtahFBI sadly that is true, more worried about paycheck and going home to their families instead. Shouldn't put on the uniform and should have turned in their badges.
@@JohnnyUtahFBI no excuse. I chose to leave a very well paying department of defense job instead of 1) taking jab 2) showing my papers - I was approved for exemption and 3) wearing a face diaper. I'm haven't had the blood clots and health problems that come with the jab. People had to show papers for the nazi party. Masks have proved to be detrimental to health. I don't have much money now but I'm better for it!
I do not understand how they chose to not do something. I could not live with myself knowing children were dying and I was too “scared” to run in and try and stop it.
Cowardice by the chief. 2nd in command should have relieved him of his duty on scene and pushed forward to stop the shooter. Many officers allegedly were ready to go in.
None of the cops had kids inside the school. Just a thought. Still there is no excuse for just standing by while innocent children are being slaughtered. 😮😮😮
We had a situation several years ago where a lady was murdered in broad daylight, in the middle of town, because the police chief got scared and froze. The shooter stopped to reload and the police watched him and did nothing. He suffered no consequences at all. When the swat team showed up, they left her lay and bleed out instead of getting her to medics. They had a clear opportunity. This lady's death was completely senseless and her blood is on the hands of many. God Bless you Buddy Brown!!!! I appreciate what you do!!!
There's reports that there was 400cops at Uvalde and the chief was charged with willful child endangerment. They need to go after the others too, my opinion.
Naw then they would have all your parental rights and your kids and if they are radical lefties then I wouldn't want them around children with firearms. Just hire some off-duty or a retired marines they'd do it gladly.
Are you kidding, you really want to arm liberal teachers who will then shoot your kid for saying there are only 2 genders ? Or what if the kid misgenders the teacher ?
Buddy should have been a bit more specific. It is not the Uvalde Police Chief that was arrested, it was the Uvalde SCHOOL Police Chief. Still, it's about time there is some actual accountability. I get so tired of officials saying they accept responsibility when there are no consequences.
Hi Buddy, how do you feel about the Pat Tillman being given to a coward, traitor, proven liar and bully of a young mother battling cancer and elder abuser? As a British citizen I am disgusted by these grifters. Buddy, I work with children and I have children and I would protect them with my life. I have no time for cowards and traitors.
I worked in armed security in the public and I would not have hesitated to go in. I couldn't believe what happened. Actually, morally and ethcially no one is obligated to save the life of others. But, I would have gone in. But, I wonder how much federal funding and NGO charity funding for security improvements, police training, medical assistance, victim payments, etc...is pumped into a community when there is a mass shooting, especially in a school.
He should also be charged for fraud. He was being paid with taxpayer money and then didn’t do his job. He should lose his pension and be required to pay back his salary
Pretty sure they arrested a father for trying to go in with his own weapon. Not 100% sure but I do remember hearing something about a person trying to go in..
I was truly shocked that day, when I heard the cops didn't enter while all the shooting was going on. I was MORE shocked to hear that they blocked family members from entering when they wanted to go in and do SOMETHING!
It's called disobeying an unlawful order. If becomes the Officer's Duty to do that. Had to do that a few times in my job as a Corrections Officer. Never got promoted in a 21yr career, but never regrated it.
That needs to change too. Police departments have become too politically enmeshed. Police commissioners must be voted in not appointed to prevent this.
I worked a rural Iowa high school as a custodian when Parkland went down,A student asked me what I would do if this happened,I said it would be them or me,I'd walk around at night in the empty school thinking of defensive positions, cover, although the chance was remote where I worked,it's sad and sobering today's youth had to ask me that question
It's not the Uvalde police chief, it's the former Uvalde 'School District' police chief who was charged. The school district has its own pd. Excellent news that he's finally held accountable!
Arredondo showed up without his city issued radio and no body armor? His men were clueless because the only communication device that Arredondo had was his smart phone? Sounds to me like Pete was totally "unprepared to go to war and do battle with Ramos the 18 yr. old "active shooter" he was late to the party by every account..
Thank you Buddy. It is great that they are holding these cowards accountable. No greater love does a man have than one who would lay down his life for his brother.
Exactly! If a soldier were to fail to act in a dangerous situation and it gets people killed, they'd be court martialed for dereliction of duty and it would be fast and brutal justice.
It was their obligation to breech the school door and save these kids and give up your own life for a child ! As a retired officer, I would rather die trying to save lives than live and be responsible for the slaughter of children!
What took so long?,how can a grown man look at himself in the mirror every day knowing 19 young children are dead because you were afraid?knowing every time you heard a gun shot that was another innocent life ended?how?
The messed up part is the supreme Court said law enforcement has no requirement to risk their life for someone else which needs to change I believe u take that job it's mandatory you preserve life and protect the innocent
I was a cop for almost 24 years. I was in disbelief at how anyone, let alone a law enforcement officer, could just stand by and allow all those kids to be killed. It made me sick to see the footage of all those cowards. As a cop, I was trained in active shooter response. I’m sure most LEO’s across this country have also been trained in such. When shots are being fired, you do not have time to wait for backup. You go and stop the threat. Those individuals should all be held accountable for their inaction. They are a disgrace to all of us who wear or wore the badge with honor, courage, and integrity.
As a member of 2 generations of police officers it blows my mind that a commander would tell them to stand down! I watched my mother cry during the racial riots in 68 because she didn't know if my dad was coming home!
EVERY "officer" that PREVENTED the parents from going in to protect their children, should be PROSECUTED AND prevented from working in ANY law enforcement or even security position.
2023, Peterson stood trial for multiple charges including felony child neglect and culpable negligence in relation to his inactivity during the school shooting.
I am a retired cop. This is a start but it isn't the end. How did this coward get to be a cop for so long? Who covered for him? They need to be held accountable too.
I’m a retired LEO myself and I can tell you from experience there are cowards that I have worked with that could never be counted on to help in dangerous situations and I just counted on myself and training to get me through 28 years with getting hurt .
How about the other 398 cowards? They are all the same. Maybe you’re different, but they back each other no matter what. Never seen another cop show up and reprimand another cop for lying and violating people’s constitutional rights. That’s why nobody likes the condescending cops anymore. And mostly they just tax people through fines. Not to mention carry out government tyranny and can if it means violating the Constitution they swore an oath to protect.
@@bobjeffries6532And how many times did you ever arrest the known bad/cowardly cops? Not once I assume. Won't ruffle the colors of the thin blue line gang.
@@Mojo32 for your information dude , I did internal affairs investigations and had two officers fired and criminal charges against a former city councilman. You have no idea on what it takes to do this job !
As a retired Kindergarten teacher, I'd have given my life for the children in my care. And a police officer-armed and with body armor- can't protect a child? Prosecute!!!
I was a volunteer firefighter/ E.M.T for 23 years; retired with rank of Captain & had a few cases where I took some children into e.m.s. custody & stood between bad parents & others. Today although retired from the v.f.d., all my friends know that I would gladly put my life on the line for them & especially their kids! When I saw the videos of the Uvalde shooting..it hurt my heart! My nephew is an Iraq veteran M.P. and is now a L.t. with the local Sheriff's dept. & I know he wouldn't have hesitated to kick a door down & go after the bad guy! So to arrest the former police chief for not doing his duty... I say why did it take so long???
Getting harder and harder to find real men (and women) to be officers. They get abused, beaten down and are not allowed to even do their job. The ones who do it anyway are prosecuted for it. I have nothing but respect and love for the real officers that are hanging on anyway to protect and serve.
You KNEW he was useless when a 70 Lbs. woman broke into the school and rescued her children by herself. Then this miscreant arrested her fore doing just that.
Took long enough, it should have happened sooner!!! Glad to see it did happen though. Thanks Buddy, you're the only source I know of (there may be others, I haven't researched it) SPEAKING about this. Kudos to you.
Who HIRED this police chief?? The mayor and city council should be held accountable as well!!! Finally, who would want to be a police officer in this day and age?? The police get dumped on from both sides.
I agree it was disgusting cowardice. However, the SCOTUS has already ruled that police have zero obligation to place themselves in harms way for anyone. This will go nowhere.
If you can't do your job until backup arrives then you need a new job. You swore to protect and serve do it ! Biggest problem is the people in charge that don't back up their men/women.
So glad some are finely being held accountable for that horror that occurred in Uvalde... As a former LEO it was so embarrassing to see the reaction to the shootings... With all the members of Law Enforcement who responded it is difficult to understand why it appeared so many were milling around waiting for orders ... Some were probably thinking about jurisdiction or who was in charge and waiting for the go ahead to act but from talking to others in law enforcement we were baffled as to why some did not just say to hell with it and go in to try and help those children. While I have never thought of myself as a hero, I know for a fact I could not have stood around waiting for some one to give me the okay to go in there and the same goes for other cops I have talked to about it. I have children and grandchildren too and would have been out for vengeance if my kids were in that situation and did not receive the help they were begging for.
Our daughter is a senior LEO, no way in hell you could have stopped her and her K-9 from entering that room! You would have had to shoot her in the act of self sacrifice…Because if you disobey orders, you lose your future job and pension. Who would let that keep them from saving innocent children?? Apparently Uvalde police are too scared of their superiors to PROTECT AND SERVE. Our daughter would give her life for ANYONE needing protection. It truly was a pathetic show of cowardice, with officers, guns drawn pacing the school hallways doing NOTHING while children lay dying.
You nailed this one Buddy. I told my wife, if we had lived in Uvalde, and I was anywhere near where I could have gone in, they would have had to arrest me to KEEP me from going in... especially if we had our own kids in there. It was the most ludicrous thing I have ever seen, and I'm embarrassed that it happened here in my home state of Texas.
@@jerrybrooks870 it never made ANY sense to me. I know a number of police officers who were all outraged that this happened like this. 77 freaking minutes before ANYONE did anything. As far as I'm concerned it was a complete dereliction of duty for every law enforcement member who was present and failed to act. I don't care if they were ordered to wait, because there is such a thing as an unlawful order.
@@jerrybrooks870 100% Now let us see what kind of investigation is done and how far up the leadership ladder the sacrificial scapegoat will be offered up.
