so nostalgic... this is the yugioh I know and love. Took a break from the game for years and when I can back pendulums were in their prime. I know the current meta of yugioh is fast and tons of combos but theres something so great about the simplicity of the game back in the day

Imagine dreaming of summoning that Genesis dude your whole life, and when you finally succeed, you lose immediately because he is an effect monster. I enjoy these duels so much. You guys actually play and actually keep your monsters on the field for more than half a turn.

That's so nostalgic! Having quit the game after the madness that followed after synchros, this was roughly the time I enjoyed the game the most. Thanks for that throwback!

I can't believe how good these decks were... now I realized I had no excuse to lose back then.. I just chose to play dumb cool nostalgic cards over the OP ones literally handed to me on a structure deck platter.

I Love that you guys did this! I had / still have the cards from this structure deck back when I used to duel. Plus loved when the game wasn't so fast paced with 200 moves every turn lol.

Oh man this takes me back, I remember getting Dragon's Roar, still have the Red-Eyes cards and Masked Dragons. Using them now even to make a red-eyes deck, even if Darkness isn't viable.

Great video right here! I have two brothers and we played Yugioh against each other. These two structure decks were a birthday gift back when they released, and we would duel each other on repeat with these cards (along with the Yugi and Pegasus structure decks). Super nostalgia here

This video hits me right in the feels and nostalgia, I remembered buy the Dragon's Structure Deck and protect it so much and specialized it on Wind Type Dragons, with their metalized card sleeves and being one of the first official Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

My favored red eyes darkness dragon when I was a kid.

Hey Team, A couple months ago, RANDOMLY, a Team APS video popped up into my suggested videos and you guys made me get back into Yugioh, ironically, these two structure decks were my first EVER, and watching this was a true throwback, keep up with the entertaining videos! Love the work and all of the laughs and exciting content! I look forward to seeing more! Dragon’s Roar for the win.

Thank you for this nostalgia video. This deck is special to me too. Takes me back to a simpler time. These decks were right before i dropped off Yu-Gi-Oh. I had the dragon deck, and because my bro and I split the cards we owned at this time (He took the "Warrior"side of our deck, and I took the traps/spells and whatever monsters I could), I took the creature base and added amazing traps and spells to it, replacing the more situational ones, and adding stronger dragons. It's now a pimped up version of the dragon starter, still with masked dragon and Red eyes as the creature base. Aaaaannnddddd that was my last deck. I only have a speed duel box for when I have company and this one deck as what's left of my flimsy collection; a relic of my childhood and when I could keep up with the game. Now I'm onto Magic...out of the frying pan, into the fire, i guess.

Man that Zombie deck was legit back in the day, it pissed alot of opponents off.

Oh man that takes me back. I remember going up town at lunch during my college years and buying these decks. I still have many copies of Vampire Genesis and a complete Japanese version of Dragons Roar.

These duels remind me of when I first started playing. My brother and me would duel in these back and forth games and it was so fun. I still my first card Bull Blader, he may not be anything special but I love him.

This is truly documenting history. I remember playing against these decks back when I was a kid. The only cards I ever bought were the starter deck Kaiba and occasional booster packs from the ice cream truck. When these things came out my deck was nowhere near capable of taking care of these. I lost duel after duel. When the next structure decks came out I bought the water one. Such fun times. Thank you for allowing a lot of us to relive some of our childhood moments again

I got so pumped up when I saw the thumbnail!!!, Zombie madness was my very first deck. A friend and I bought this decks back in 2005 I got the zombie madness and he got the Dragons Roar deck. Little we knew the zombie deck was so frekinng boosted. Fun fact: Red-eyes Darkness dragon becomes a zombie in the next zombie deck and I think is a clear reference to how uneven this 2 decks are.

Older decks are so much better and straight to the point so you guys need to battle with these more often. I can't stand watching people play with the new decks and having to read the walls of text, playing half their deck in one turn and shuffling for 5 hours because of it.

Several of these cards from the dragon's roar structure deck bring back vague and nostalgic memories of when I was in elementary school in the 2005-2006 era. Now at 24 almost 25 I look back at seeing those as a reminder to wanting to obtain the dragon's roar structure deck now!
