StraightFashionMan We want an economic boom, low taxes controlled spending, and a powerful military.

RobbyGAMEZ army, been reduced, Air Force is looking for excuses to remover personnel, and after reagan left office our navy was cut by more than half.

Regardless of these cutbacks, our military is still the most powerful and well funded on the planet.

+Miller Ramsey You might not agree with his policies but Obama is that type of leader. Obama has a similarly strong presence and optimism to him as Ronald Reagan did. If you let go of your bias and really listen to Obama as he talks you will see the strength of his leadership. I truly love Ronald Reagan as a role model and great American leader but coming from a liberal background where I can hear Obama talk without prejudice towards him, I truly believe he is also a great leader and role model to the American people. At least those who are willing to hear him out.

Why? Does America need a higher deficit?

StraightFashionMan Deficit spending in debt to GDP ratio went up by 11.3% in Reagan's first term and 9.3% in his second term. It has gone up 18.5% in Obama's first term, and who knows how much more in his second term, so try again...

And it applies today gov't isn't the solution it's the problem.
