In-Depth MidRange Dogmatika Deck Profile (a.k.a. Waifu Dogmatika 🤩)
Summary
-----------------------------------------------
This build differs slightly from the more popular control variants of the deck. Instead of playing one of the many going-first lock-down strategies such as Jowgen, Winda or Iblee, this build instead focuses on a more flexible going second mid-range strategy. Dropping the lock-down sub-engines gives room in the main and extra decks for hand-traps, utility and swarming capabilities for the mid game. This build is also distinctly different from the pure ritual Dogmatika lists that heavily focus on ritual summoning and locking your opponent out of the game.
The aggressive nature of the deck comes into play with the ease of turboing out Alba Zoa turn 1. Summoning a 4k beater with little setup not only adds a lot of stats on board but also ensures you accumulate more resources at the end phase for subsequent turns. Your Dogmatika and SwordSoul monsters can also be swarmed out to close out games based on your opponents turn 1 plays. You also can reliably OTK your opponents with Accesscode Talker + Fluerdeis.
This is supplemented with the control elements that the deck naturally has access to. This includes things such as extra deck manipulation, non-targeting removal, and continual recursion with Blazing Cartesia, Incredible Ecclesia, and PSY-Framelord Omega.

Bro I’m seeing this around Duel Cup(2) 2023 on Master Duel.. Running a very similar setup except with/witchcrafter Runick but your set up is super solid and has other plays I didn’t consider! Thanks

Hello everyone, thanks for watching the deck profile. What name would you give this build of the deck? Juggling a couple of different ones at the moment and ended on mid-range Dogmatika for now. Would you just call this pure Dogmatika? How about Virtuous Dogmatika, or even Swordsoul Dogmatika? Let me know your thoughts.

I would just call this Dogmatika. Your combo starter is Ecclesia/Nadir and the Boss is Alba Zoa. The question I have for you is how did the match vs Labrynth go? From my testing this is one of the hardest matchups in the format along with Vanquish Soul.

Thanks. And suprisingly, labrynth is one of my better matchups. Nadir is good to pop their backrow with n'tss. You just don't activate Zoa's effect. Maximus is okay mid game if you also send omega as well. And post siding, its almost an auto-win since you side in like 10 cards for it. Bystials are good to banish their labies and furnture. Left hand, duster and lightning storm are also blowouts.

That DM duel was so nuts, trying to build both of the decks on MasterDuel. Got all my gems saved up for the Lulu + Quem pack.

Instead of running crossout you can just use branded fusion. It is better to have more plays than having 1 play and 1 way to protect said play. Also it sets up dogmatika stuff or bystials. I would argue it is not worth playing rituals if you are not ready to max out matrix and add either knight or relic, cause zoa on its own is hardcore gambling Go1st, while relic is better go2nd

I wouldn't sub out the crossouts for more engine. Especially since you're main decking most handtraps in the meta already; with or without them. Cutting them will leave you wide open to droll and lock bird. And for the branded fusions, if you want to run that card, you might as well just commit to running branded despia. I tried it a couple of months ago and it felt like a bad branded deck due to the extra deck restrictions. You'll also be commiting a lot of extra deck space for albaz fusions to justify running them. And for relic and matrix, I would just say try the pure ritual variant instead. My build is more of a going second mid range build. Resolving ecclesia will get you matrix whenever you need it. Ill test with white relic again though to see if it can make it work. Would be cool to have her in it as well.

I'm play testing a Branded dogmatika version. Not exactly like yours, but very similar on some aspects. The difference is that I run more quem/Cartesia because they are my combo starters. Branded fusion is awesome as an extender in this strategy, not as the main combo line. It's nice to have a way to bait ash or even extend if something goes wrong. Mirrorjade is insanely powerful.
