I dont see much use for the lvl 5 runick, it seems like if you had a higher ratio of runick spells you would be more likely to use slepnir for its first eff and then still have a copy for the draw 2 and for monstrosity. imo (and there may be problems with this that Im not thinking of) you could move the kaijus to the side and add 1 copy of fire destruction and curses for more access into the runick engine and maybe play 3 slepnir or a hugin for the protection eff
Yeah, you can go with that approach as well. Freki functions similiarly to sleipnir in that why for protection. It also has the effect to add used runick spells from the grave which is useful since you arent playing fountain. I do think kaijus are main deckable this format because of purrley and kash but its personal preference. You're already siding additional runick spells so you can swap them if you want.
Yeah, you're not controling two at the same time. At that part, i was saying that your opponent is likely to get over one of them after you use the onmi negate. So you want a 2nd one in the deck to summon off of boss stage next turn. I noticed my opponents usually run out of resources trying to get rid of the first one, so the 2nd one closes out the round.
