Zaccharie Risacher all the way. Alex Saar big question mark. Risacher is a traditional catch-and-shoot 3+D who actually gives a damn about the D portion of the moniker. Consider the potential with him, Billal, and Deni in the same lineup. Risacher chose to play competitively with and against established professionals in a tough French Div1 league and the Eurocup, and by the end of the year, he had been named the Eurocup rising star and the French League's best young player. On the other hand, Alex Saar left Real Madrid, the best team in Europe with one of the best developmental programs, which also produced Luka and Bogdanovich, among others and went to G-league Ignite for a year, then chose to play in Australia rather than French or Spain where he should presumably have all the advantages. That is definitely and eyeball raiser in my book, because it appears that either no team in the upper divisions of the competitive leagues in Europe wanted anything to do with him, or that simply Alex Saar would like "to earn his bag" as an NBA high draft prospect, but is afraid to compete at the highest level possible on his way there, so he and his advisers chose a safer route to hide some of his deficiencies. Either way, despite his potential, selecting Saar as the first or even second pick in the draft is a questionable and hazardous decision, while Risacher will be a safer choice. I sincerely hope the Hawks, or any other club that could conceivably rise to the top, will take it for us. Because if Risacher goes first, I'd rather the Wizards pass on Saar as the second pick altogether.

Watch for J.Davis to have a break out season. The Wiz "young magicians" are going to be just fine. I say draft the best talent, regardless of position. I like Ron Holland or anyone from UCON.

Spurs fans are thirsting for Castle. I could see a trade with the Wiz trading 2 for 4 and 8 (Risacher and Holland). Hopefully Poole party can lead to a lot of dunks. Clingan has foot injuries-- I'd stay away. I'd also be willing to trade with San Antonio for a future first (like next year's Atlanta pick) if they don't want to move 8. I'd also be willing to trade Kuzma to Atlanta (because they can't tank) for the Clint Capella albatross, although I would ask for 2 firsts for that.

I'm not sure what you've been watching or reading but there is a zero percent chance the Spurs would trade #4 and #8 for #2 in this draft. The talent gap isn't large enough between #2 and #8.

@@rsgomlftw Because he's only scoring 20 points a game here because he touches the ball so often as the first option. On any other team, he won't. Sacramento has Fox and Sabonis. Kuzma will never see the ball 30+ Usage like he does here.

@@rsgomlftw You have no point. Kuzma already touches the ball more than any other player on the roster. He's not going to magically shoot better because the team drafts a low post player. But, I'll play your game. Let's say he becomes a 50 point a game scorer here. He's still not that to any other team. And all that would do is the same thing Kuzma is doing now, taking valuable playing time away from developmental players. It would also make him harder to trade.

Kyle Kuzma to Detroit for Evan Fournier and no 5 draft pick. Then trade Evan Fournier to San Antonio for Julian Champagnie, Devonte Graham and no 4 draft pick which makes room for San Antonio to sign Tyus Jones.

@deborahstewart1934 Spurs ALSO want a young PG to grow with Wimby. Why give up that potential for Evan who barely played for the Knicks and needed to go to Detroit just to get minutes. Spurs could get Tyus through free agency and maybe draft Castle still. Who would you rather have.......Castle or Evan?

Kuz to Detroit for Evan Fournier and the draft pick is a great deal for the Wizards, however Evans had a value in the market, just because he has unguaranteed contract. Teams that need the space to sign free agents on big deals will be really happy to make trades with nice assets in return, so they can cut him and save 20 milions +-. Spurs don't need him and don't need the money.
