Two strokes can run in either direction. Now I’m not sure with it having a transmission with it but a weedeater will fire clockwise and counterclockwise
Ur rite! I was at the top of a steep incline and stalled a banshee.. when I was vigorously rolling back down the hill my hand slipped off the clutch & it started back up! Amazed how I saved the machine when I went to drive all the gears were in reverse!!
That crank had alil more play than I would be comfortable with. The up nd down wasn't bad at all the side to side was. And since u already half way there I would go all the ay and replace it. Its showing signs of going bad and wouldn't last too much longer. Great video thou bro. This is awesome what ur doing. He's definitely in good hands. 👍 and congrats to the monthly sub winner.

My 250r engine was worse, it ran but it was on the way out, I had Dave Moore do a full restoration & its mint now. Dont worry Eric you can fix almost anything
Little to much wiggle now that you know! If you can afford it, do it. Sucks, but you'll be ripping the right way soon. Just my opinion. Hopefully someone sends you another one to build Jarrod. Excited for the banshee big wheel!

I know the 450 manuals state the amount of side to side tolerances /play allowed; to be verified with your mom's fellers gauge. Not sure about them badda$$ 2 smokers. Lol IMO I'd go ahead and replace the crank with it being that far tore down. 🤘🏻👌🏻
Harbor freight compression testers does not have a Schrader valve is why they don't work you can add one for 2 bucks its not hard and they work.. why they don't come with them is beyond me
I have a CLAPPED out 1990 hpp cr125. Its got some good parts but someone didnt take care of it. It runs and rips but seeps transmission oil from several spots on the cases as Its gonna need some welding. Someone also tried to use jb weld in a couple spots. Would be a good challenge. Is that something you can do? An ear that holds the clutch cover broke completely off(i dont have it) and theres a couple snapped off bolts in some holes. Im desperate as this is my first 2 stroke.
@TimeMachines I have a blaster rebuild i need help with. I have a new weisco 220 big bore kit and matched rings and bore on the cylinder head already done. Wanna rebuild it for me? everything is labeled and disassembled already. Also ran into a transmission problem. its not shifting through the gears correctly.

Just curious I have been trying to re jet my carb on my Yamaha blaster for the winter and I have gone up a couple of sizes and it would not start so I went down four sizes on the main jet and it started running better. why would it need to be leaned out during winter instead of Richened I’m so confused. it ran great during the summer but now after I shut it off the spark plug is soaked with fuel

If he runs the bottom end the way it is.. It is just going to need to be redone alot sooner.. If you're in there and he can afford it redo the bottom end now.. Do it right and it will last..
Way too sloppy for my liking. Looks like that cylinder was or is nikasil plated ? Really hard to tell from my phone. I'd definitely send that crank out and have a new rod pressed on. It was probably really noisy and had vibrations. Nice catch on the rod play brother
2 vintage says side to side slop doesn’t matter, only up and down?? Lol never seen any automotive engine have slop in either direction without a failure
