I have been wanting to do some filming in this area for a long time Bryan, and I wasn't disappointed with what we got to film with all that proper traction. We saw more than I expected to when I did the planning for the day. Cheers Mike.

Fair enough mate, in years gone bye there was locos stabled all over the place, but some blooming woman closed all the mines. That was a very sad time for me in the early 80s. Thank you for watching.

The coal traffic in this area Ian must have been brilliant, thanks to that woman its all good now, but are we any better off, I would like to think so ?? I will give it another go in the future as it was a good day, but we did have them extra working, ATB Mike.

Ps, most of the locos I saw were 56s and class 58s with the odd 47, I think the drivers were proud men, invariably with coller and ties On .Two communities, the ASLEF Men and the NUM heroes .Very busy through Casleford at the level crossing , plenty of gas again from the pits .I'd be coming back over here , Poynton, and to see all that was fascinating 👏 👌 Sorry to go on ATVB Mike, Ian 👍👍

Thanks for this comment Colin, as I said in the description it was a cracking day as I was with Ben who is always good for a chat about out hobby, and meeting Pete was good. I bet it was Arthur as with all them coal mines the coal trains would have been mega. But I had a good day with getting the 20s 47s and the LE 37, so I will go again when I can. Cheers for watching Mike.
