The site I used to play the quizzes is here: sporcle.com It turns out Sporcle has a 1v1 PvP mode for all the online trivia maniacs out there. Lord forgive me but I'm about to go back to the old me.
He'd def destroy me in almost any type of trivia, but I'd have made him my bitch in that one (by which I mean i would have gotten like 2 or 3 more than him correct).
I never imagined that me as a 23 year old man would be watching a 32 year old man play quizzes on a website that was introduced to me in 6th grade Computers class when I was a preteen.
I played Elite Dangerous for way too long and was slapping myself when the answers came up. Palladium, Gallium, Yttrium, Thallium, and Beryllium are all used in synthesizing in the game.
I was absolutely shocked when out local, seemingly bottomless fountain of pure consciouness and intellect didnt know the planets / stars / roman names associated with greek gods. He's still a monster in trivia games though
@@AffableMia ikr, it seems like NL and my knowledge fit together like a puzzle piece. He knows literally everything I don't, and then my small wheelhouse of trivia knowledge is totally unknown to him.
Bruhh I dunno, he has this subtly stated intelligence where it's obvious he doesn't know everything because nobody does, but still ... I'd say he's got true intellect in many areas and is also humble about it. When he's ego it's clear he's being facetious which is how it should be, Levy gives me the same vibes lol
I have a pretty good breadth of knowledge but there are actually a lot of blindspots for sure, including mythology (as displayed here). Really I think I'm only super strong in culture/entertainment from like 1960->on, everything else I am definitely very beatable
@@Tuxfanturnip Ytterbium was one of the few I couldn't remember. For some reason I kept coming up with copper and potassium and kept going "No, that isn't right.." several times over before I realized I was a dumbass though, lol
@@JohnDoe-xx8yw I am not even sure what they were asking about. Was it about the element's name having double letter in them? During the question I kept thinking about the element symbols and did not get any with two of the same letter.
@@Slash-XVI Yes thats right, I thought it was elements that started and ended with the same letter so I was screaming nitrogen at the screen, then when I realised I was wrong I got palladium and yttrium and that was all :P (and I also studied chemistry lmao)
@@Slash-XVI You pretty much got it but yeah, it confused me at first as well. Any element whose name has two consecutive letters, for example gallium with "ll" or yttrium with "tt". It could definitely have been worded better
I felt that guy when he said he just took chemistry but couldn't answer the questions. I didn't even realize what it was asking at first. As soon as he entered potassium though my mind started screaming Ytterbium!
I like the idea of someone stumbling upon this content and seeing NL dabbing, and talking shit to his opponents and thinking to themselves "Wow. What an incredibly rude guy this Northernlion is"
This man's entire endgame was based around his obscure knowledge pertaining to actors whose first name is Kevin and you took this from him, he logged off afterwards staring at the ceiling wondering what just happened, how Ryan just pulled this man's little stick out in front of 70k viewers and ganked him off until nothing came out because he's a little boy.
10:50 " You guys been listenin' to K-BILLY's Super Sounds of the '70s weekend? -Oh, yeah man, it's f*ckin great isn't it? You believe the songs they're playin'? -Know what I heard the other day? "Heartbeat, It's a Lovebeat" by little Tony DeFranco and the DeFranco family. I haven't heard that song since I was in the fifth f*ckin' grade. " ...and that's how I would have been able to match that song.
