excuse me I'll have you know that the 42 people that have liked this at time of writing this comment represent the sum total of the population of the state.
Most of these have to be in per capita. I can't imagine connecticut has more twins born (population of 3m) than a state like california with a population of almost 40m.
Exactly what I was thinking. California was taken early, so for like half of those questions I was thinking, ok it’s obviously Texas since they’ve got the largest population.
USA citizens really bringing down that average, if those "man on the street" geography interviews are an accurate portrait of American geography knowledge
@@newdayatmidnight I am an American and I can confirm my my fellow Americans are not the smartest on world geography. The same people I asked however know a lot of US geography. I feel like the stereotype is bad because just take into scale how much larger America is over Europe countries (Some states are as large as countries). I feel like the correct thing to say about modern America is that our school system is failing.
@@JB-xl2jc well too bad society actually values hard work and investment, and not bitching about another mans' wealth anonymously on youtube. Poor lefties. Get ready for Nov 8 :)
As an American citizen I also failed, and I'm okay with that, but somehow I didn't know NJ has the lowest rate of chewing tobacco and that will haunt me for the rest of my life.
I was struggling because sometimes it would use per capita and other times it wasnt so every time I saw "most" id just instantly assume the state left with the highest population. Anyways quizes like this can be bias as hell because a state can only be a choice once.
I am from and live in New Jersey and was waiting to see what fact is was going to give us. I can tell you I was not expecting that, though I never see anyone use dip aside from truckers so makes sense to me
quick note on the low average continents score: in my honors-level high school geography class the teacher asked us to list the continents and not only could my classmates not figure it out (i could only contribute one continent) but someone answered brazil and another said "artica"
"Artica" is some great lateral thinking though. Don't remember Antarctica is spelled with two "c's" -> Antartica -> "Anti-artica" -> opposite to "artica" -> Artica must be a continent that caps the northern hemisphere.
11:22 I am guessing that 87 is from misclicks on Oceania where they might of clicked nearer to the central pacific and it counted it as Asia..... maybe?
Green jello with carrots is very much a product of its time (like the weird cookbooks from the 50s-70s) and it’s somehow stuck around in the cultural zeitgeist, but I legit haven’t seen it served since I was a kid. And for the record, I don’t know a single person who actually liked it
Orange jello with carrot and pineapple chunks is actually completely zooted. Amazing pallette cleanser dish for any holiday with predominately heavy fare.
As an ex-Mormon residing in Utah, I feel confident in the fact that Utah was most charitable” cuz they are counting donations to religious organizations, namely the Mormon church. If you want to call yourself a good Mormon, you have to pay 10 percent of your all income to the church. I have a problem with it being called charity because just look up the audit of the church and how many companies the church owns that you see that charity isn’t really the name of the game
From Wisconsin. When I heard the "most craft breweries", I was holding my breath as I knew it HAD to be Wisconsin. My disappointment was immeasurable to say the least. Then I saw "largest cheese producer" and realized I just should have waited lol.
@@Medium_Johnson to be fair his rate of growth is absurdly slow, normally i would expect a 1.03 million subs creator to have hit a million like a month ago.
It's likely most rural by a % of population and Alaska's population is almost entirely in 3 cities. That or it's most rural by raw # and then the small total population does it.
Lowest seems weird, but highest was probably elsewhere. That name is only really used for bordering states, drivers all across the country are terrible.
19:14 was Lorne Green, the star of the wonderful old show "Bonanza." Also, if it makes you feel any better, I made the EXACT same mistake with the KC style ribs
I actually knew that the state with the least violent crime rate was Maine. There ARE RU-vid videos that talk about this kind of stuff, and that's how I knew it.
There's only two possibilities: weather, or politics. Weather-wise, I feel like a slightly more southern state would be more mild. Politically, I guess it would mean least people that lean heavily left or heavily right.
the quiz is bullshit btw, Wisconsin should have taken the per capita breweries and California has stolen #1 in both variety and volume of cheese produced, back in like 2004.
I knew Ohio was most library visits it was a culture shock when moved out of Ohio to Seattle and the library wasn't a hub like where I lived in Columbus
Delaware was most moderate* That's based af I'm aware it's talking about politics, but I like to see it as Delaware being called the most "average" state instead
That state food one had to be one of the worst list possible with how much they got either wrong, or miss labeled. As a Midwest native only 2 were truthfully correct, that being Illinois and Minnesota. Nebraska's main dish isn't referred to as a handheld meat pie, its a Runza. I wouldn't necessarily say Wisconsin's is known nationally for Brats, I think cheesecurds is more recognizable one. And the absolute slander of Iowa, I don't think the Corn Dog has any correlation to the state, it should be a Maid-Rite.
Do Americans seriously think they invented apple pie? Jesus christ the nerve... The French and British have been eating apple pies before Columbus was even born.
Lived in Washington and California, the thought of Washington being more bike friendly is hilarious. Maybe a couple cities, but there have to be better bike friendly states than Washington, if not I'm so sorry for bicyclists.
I am the most American person in this comments section, and I want the record to reflect that most of Ennell's guesses are logical, but logic doesn't always go that way. He's gaming.
