Something a friend noticed that makes blue's team leaving just a little more sad, is look at her outfit and weapon, this is probably like her first game ever and all her teammates disconnected

Orange gets the award for... *BEST TEAMATES!!* I actually am really glad they let that blue kid win! This is just pure friendship!

That happened, my team got something like that on a Splatoon 2 Tower Control. The lone inkling was in the corner as a squid. So we just squid party with them so they could atleast be better. In a completely different game, that situation happened too, I played ranked Overwatch and everyone on my team just leaves for some reason. So the enemy just played with me, made me win atleast two rounds, and we had fun despite my frustration of those leavers.

"Hooray for unstable connection" That line and the delivery of it killed me.

This happened to me once, my team disconnected a few seconds into the match and I was left alone and the other team didn't realize until no one from my team, it was pink against blue, attacked them. We were in camp triggerfish and after a while I was hiding in my ink and saw the whole other team run toward my side and honestly expected to be ruthlessly sniffed out but they all started squidpartying. Of course, I didn't come out bc I've run into people who do that in order to mock teams with fewer players so I stayed away and watched as they were throwing bombs at my spawn and then popped my head up and they went batshit crazy. In the end I won by inking the most turf and I was so happy, later on when I went to add them I checked their inklings and they were a team of S+ players, so they would have been able to wreck me if they wanted to. We're still friends to this day and they're fiercely protective over me whenever I join their games....probably because I really suck compared to them |"D

And from this point on. A new tactic was born. And her team abused it, ever again. To make others feel bad and give free wins.

I remember how I had the exact same situation with someone being all alone in ranked And we were so busy squid partying as 5 that we completely forgot to let the lonely some win Like for real now that shit still keeps me awake at night and that was in Splatoon 1

I would always do this if there was a 1v4. I would always spare the player and ink less turf.

This happened to me once, my team lost connections with me, the other team came up to my base with out inking anything and we just goofed off.

One time the ENTIRE other team quit right before a Turf War. Apparently the Spawn Point counts for 0.5%

I’ve never seen a 1v4 happen before. But I’ve had a 2v4 once... there was no mercy. I just helplessly watched as my other teammate would get splatted, respawn, run out, and get splatted again. It’s sad really. When one or more squids on the opposing team disconnect, I usually sit back and watch, sometimes goofing around in the sidelines.... which sometimes triggers a Squid Party. :)

The fact this happened to me twice goes to show splatoon is the most wholesome shooter community, besides doom

So if the Inklings themselves acknowledge that the 1 v 4 was caused by an unstable connection, does that mean they can only enter Turf Wars if they have Internet access? Do they download themselves onto the playing field or something? Or do they send out avatars into a virtual playing field just like actual Splatoon players? Are they all secretly Pokémon?!
