1VD-FTV into 40 Series quad cab 

Getting a bit ambitious on this project, but I don't think so.
Going to put the 4.5L V8 turbo diesel from a 2009 79 series into my 1984 45 series Landcruiser chassis.
I'll then put the front 3/4 of the ute cab and the rear 7/8ths of a swb cab together to make a quad cab with 4 doors so I can drag the family away with me, or more room for beer and I can sleep in comfort inside the rear.
Got the 2009 79 series as a write off in an auction. Didn't even know if the thing started when I won the bidding!. Anyway, got it home, checked the air filter, clean no mud, checked the oil, looked nice and black typical of government department service I guess. Anyway, started it up and it ran well. Smile on face.
So, plan is to take engine, gearbox, radiator, intercooler,...... from the 79 and chuck it into the 45 series chassis. I will be putting the power to the ground via a set of 4.8L Nissan Patrol diffs and the associated suspension components for a coil sprung set up.
Anyway, lets see how it all turns out in about 12 months time, but here's the 79 series engine turning over sounding nice and sweet through a 2 1/2" exhaust. I plan on using the same exhaust on the 45 when finished.
