I got the blue laser and love it. I do like green lasers because I can see the beam, but my blue laser can burn stuff fast! Always protect your eyes and never use a powerful laser on your skin. I have a few pairs of safety glasses so friends can enjoy my lasers too.
Blue and red my fav types owned all currently have a red non burning and a blue one watt burning laser which comes in handy for people with drones that want to annoy me as when I shine this at the drone they soon leave had an old green and red but some sob stole them
For some reason, every time I do a power test on ANY red laser in a decent sized host (like that one) they always measure around 230mW, the green ones never go above 100mW... and the blue lasers always exceed 1000.
@asengamer-terryandprimo3105 Actually I do remember commenting on this video. I still have my lasers to this day and yes I think you're right. Blue lasers kind of have to be higher powered otherwise you can't really see the light they emit, so that's probably why they're always at least 1000mW. Where as green lasers are insanely bright even at 200mW. I even have a yellow laser which are extremely rare these days.
@@CraigLandsberg-lk1ep They are way more expensive than any other colour of laser, plus you can only really get them at a power of no more than 50mW but the output brightness is really nice.
Why is nobody reading the ads properly? This red and the green one two is not advertised as 1W, only the blue one is. I know many of the ads are confusing. Clearly not the best English speakers have written them. However most lasers sold on eBay are overpowered, not under-powered. This to get around restrictive laws.
I love these laser reviews! I bought a thor mark 2 laser because of your video. I was going to buy one of these "one watt lasers" but im glad i didnt. By the way congrats on the sub gain.
The blue one is 1W. The Red/Green ones not advertised as 1W, but as 125mW or something similar. Some ads are in poor English and basic errors are made. Such as some of the ads listing them as 1-5 mW, which is ridiculously low.
Not gonna lie, when I got the blue one I had friends over when it arrived and placed the batteries in. IT WAS ON!! Super bright, nearly hit a friend with the laser and almost had a heart attack...
I don't know who you bought this from, however I bought the same laser on eBay, in each colour of Red, Green and Blue. Maybe you misunderstood the ad but the one I read, and numerous others which I looked at doing price comparison lists the Blue laser as 1W, which it does appear to be, and the Red and Green at 1-5 mW. The fact that the blue one has two 3.7v batteries and the green/red only one should in itself give one pause if assuming they were all 1000mW. In fact the three lasers all give over power than what is advertised. The Blue is exceptional though. Very dangerous if not wearing eye protection. It gives a strong burning sensation almost instantly if bare skin is struck by it within a meter. Burning paper instantly. One thing to note, and next to the two faults you mentioned and wrongly in my opinion ignored in review. The red one of these did not work out of the box. The light comes on but so dim it is not visible at one meter in my low office light. I was refunded no problem and still have the laser. I'm looking for a video to explain dismantling these ones as I thought to see if it is repairable. I like the design myself but am unimpressed with the quality of assembly.
so after watching all 3 of these videos, i went with the blue version of this. primary use will be burning. bet it will be great for wood burning patterns.
hey man, I requested this laser on your previous laser review (500mw purple laser module) and also the third link in your description was exactly the same as the one that I gave you. anyways I really thought that I could be once in your video. I have one question: I ordered a laser 303 and a pair of laser safety glasses, both from China, (I expected them to come in about a month) the laser 303 came in about 3 and a half weeks and the glasses aren't here yet, now it has been two months since I ordered them, what should I do? btw nice video!

I built a 2.4w duel emitter diode 638nm red laser. Each individual beam is 1.2w. To be honest a 1.2w burns about the same as a 500mw. Red lasers react well with black and darker materials but compared to a 445nm or 445nm blue 1.2w a red simply doesn't seem to burn as quickly in my experience.
@@qaching Sure there are some legitimate ones. But in this case at least the battery is not. As of 2020, there is not a single 18650 lithium ion battery rated above 3600mAh capacity or a 30A CDR. If you see any 18650 battery marketed above these specs, you should be very weary of what you are actually getting as it is absolutely certain to be false and exaggerated.
So I've been watching you for a while now and have a question. Please tell me what is the best possible laser for about 40-60 dollars anything in that price range? I really want one that can easily burn and something that is visible. Please respond!
Hmm, neat laser. I prefer laser Modules. I have low powered lasers 80 mw blue 450 nm, 100 mw green 532 nm, 100 mw 650 nm, 200 mw 405 nm, I also bought a 300 mw purple laser to cut wood. Carving wood with a laser.
i buy this red laser on aliexpress in april of this year 2022, for now i no have problems with this, the line of light is not crooked and the power is around 230mW>, in bright environments the dot is visible (not so much) and at night you can see beam but not so noticeable.
dont use red-headded matches - red matches reflect red wavelenght a lot - use brown, green or black matches for red lasers to show its burning capacitiy
So...I have the 1watt blue and it reads well over the 1watt at 1.2to1.3w! I've seen the blue 1watt read from 800mw to 1.5w! Why so low with red? Could it be the meter doesn't read red well? Other reviewers who did the blue gatling style got 1watt to 1.5watt so...
I just ordered this and on the label it’s says the power output is lesser than 1mW and it doesn’t says it’s a burning laser, will it still burn and will the output power be 250 mW like yours?
Blue is the best I've tested so far, but I haven't reviewed the purple one yet! I'm probably going to keep my 303 saber for now just because of how rare they've become. Sorry!
it would probably burn the matches better if they werent red since they will reflect red light, i didnt know they made this laser in red and green i have the blue one
I hope you did not pay too much for that?. I like the solid look of it, but that beam was bad. Saw a video earlier of a guy with a blue one that looked exactly the same and the beam was brilliant even in a light condition. I want to buy one but too many available and not sure if buying a good one or not.
I have one just like this I bought from Ebay. Its bright and will burn stuff easy. It will light a match in less than a second. On the laser it said 50,000 mw
in my opinion it's not dangerous because I have a laser similar to this, but mine is stronger and brighter but it didn't damage my eyes even without eye protection and I don't use any eye protection, but you can go blind when a laser like this hits your eye, you're 100% blind within a second!

Також замітив, що фокус плаває від температури. Так на морозі пляма розривається, а при нагріві від рук фокус відновлюється... Довжина хвилі насправді 660 нм.
Ya, I knew that going into the review, and I was expecting this to just use the same diode as the red Laser 303 (85mw). I was surprised that it was as powerful as it was, and for the price of $30 I wasn't entirely disappointed, even though it doesn't live up to the advertised 1 watt
