2.4 l starter replacement 13 Chrysler 200 

Dawg you have no clue how much you helped me out bro, this damn Chrysler has so many issues I replaced fuel pump and tipm module, still nothing I look and and seen the starter wire hanging and it’s a b word to get out so watching this I never thought to take the throttle body out good shii my boy💪🏽

I have the same exact problem with the same car, thermostat leaking onto the starter and shorting it out... Apparently I'm not alone lol

Im doing the same now. Gonna pull the throttle body off to reinstall. Was able to pull without removing it. Good job. Not difficult at all. They should have never made the thermostat housing out of plastic. All plastics ones will eventually leak.

Im being offered a 10 tooth starter and an 8 tooth starter… which one did u use? And also amazon sells a metal thermostat housing for this 2.4….. havnt tried it but im thinking about it…. Im on my 3rd thermostat housing replacement

the intrake you have. where did you get that and is it easy to install?

Thermostat housing on these cars suck. I’ve had 3 or 4 in mine.
