Keep in mind we now have easy access to a legendary Strength bow (Eye of Khan) from the Khitan Merchants, which means Archers that used to be discarded for having high Strength but low Agility are actually pretty good now. The fact that Markos also has both high Strength, high Ranged Multiplier, *and* can be purchased with Obolus, makes him one of the best Archer Thralls in the game, if not the best just for the easy access. Also a quick mention to Serpent-man Arrows. Same attributes as Star Metal Arrows, but requires Demond Blood instead. Depending on your supply, it might be easier to craft.
Just checked the Merchants (single player), after the update, you can still trade blood crystals for coins and supplies, but tools, weapons and thralls no longer for sale. Golem guy still trading.
Don't count out Dina and Freya both have the same stats and built on strength bow and strength armor with Bessy's Bow, training Freya right now if she gets around 4000 HP I will drag her around with me and one other thrall.
Great video archers are my bread and butter. You left out two very good archers. Amurath the swift at sinner refuge comes with ranged mod of 2.88 and higher base health than darfari at 605 but not easy to find. My best archer is 100% spawn at the den Du'naman dragoon he comes with RM of 2,16 base health 1092 and 30 points in agility. With exception of the votaries he is best archer in game better than darfari. Unappetizing fish cooked for agility growth and cooked grouper for agility buff +3 or +5

Yo Darkcat just wanted to mention that Markos The Accursed is the siptah only version of Markos Bane of Beasts you can either find Markos Bane of Beasts at Mounds of the Dead or Purchase. Just wanted to update you with that but great video appreciate the effort
@@rjbenchs5399Players used to be able to purchase Named Combatents(Dalinsia, Vapnir, Janos, Markos) Named Workers(Smelter, Tanner, Alchemist, Scoutweight Armorer) and a T4 Entertainer as worker althought he is a placeable slaves. Anyways all that were at mek kemoses spire where you learn the set religion which is north from the Sinkhole, east of the Southern Aquaduct. Im unsure if Funcom does add the merchants back they removed with Age of War Chapter 2.(I only heard about it might be worth checking yourself) You needed to trade blood crystal for magi caches which had obolus coins in them(obtainable for special rocknoses & golems around the map). Since i assume you didnt knew about it. There has been a dungeon & some traders for weapons, tools and supply materials. Darkcat should have a video about it im sure. I hope i could help you
I believe a few mentioned already in the comments here that if you want a thrall able to do decent with a bow, there are many strength bow since the beginning of the age of war, so there is no reason to restrict ourselves to agility. Another point I want to bring up is that any thrall can use a bow, they don't have to be archers. Finally, unless there is a specific PvP use case, for the new purge defence, the number of enemies grows a lot with the number of defenders (players and thralls), so I am not sure how much valuable they are for that purpose. Oh! and the attribute growth chance is semi-random, ie the same thrall can have different growth chance for each of their four attributes.
For thralls its different the str is used for melee and agi is used for any thrown or shot weapon so you can get a brute and focus all into str and it still wouldnt beat a brute focused in agi if using a bow also it might be a typo but fin of dagon has a 6.48 range multiplier
@@michaelhill2957 You can see at each weapon's description what attribute it uses. For example, Eye of Khan and Bessie's Bow bow use strength, even though they are bow (ranged), while Bec-de-Corbin uses agility, even though it is 2h-hammer (melee). These changes were introduced in the Age of War, Chapter One.
From @6:45 to @9:15 those two thralls are **exactly the same** stats-wise. Markos the Accursed (ID:Accursed_Archer_4_Cimmerian) can spawn only in the Isle of Siptah (any Accursed faction camp), while Markos, Bane of Beasts (ID: Forgotten_Tribe_Archer_4_Cimmerian) can spawn in Exiled Lands (any Forgotten Tribe faction camp, so mainly the north Mounds of the Dead) or as stated purchased as one of the four possible combatant thralls from the khitan merchant in Mek-kamoses' Spire (blood crystals for the oboli in the ophidian caches) as mentioned.

Hey man i have a question, strength points will also effect ur agility weapons damage? , i use my bow on full agility build with 0 points on strength, is It bad?
1.92 from 2.88 is a 96% more multiplier (used at the end of the dmg calc) where agility points give a increase (additive value) , even if u had 100 agility on a markos its never gonna beat a defari archer with like 10 agility in terms of dmg. in terms of PvP if ur using dead angles for ur archers u need to one shot, meaning health is kinda irrelevant. i did hear a rumor that agility effects arrow accuracy? ive only tested this slightly and there was hardly any difference so im going to say agility doesnt affect accuracy
@@darkcat.gaming Ive ran alot of test on accuracy crurdah the crusher with 80 agility and a c brute with 0 agi over 10 runs on a arena champ, same distance same gear the difference in shots and misses was only 2.7% in favor of 80 agility, if it affects accuracy its tiny
There is another funny stuff. You may put a crystal golem or even iron golem on the top of column, as by your method. Give him a bow with gas or acid arrows just important don't forget to load a bow with arrows or automaticly it will use a stone arrows. You may put alooot of arrows in its inventory and damn it it is an immortal touret 😂😂😂 Unfortunately Funcom don't want to fix a golems so you can use only one or need that they stay far from one to another or they start shooting each other.😂😂😂
in pvp maybe i can have a few, but pve/pve-c against purge i havent cared about archers for years, i thrust more in foot soldiers on the ground@@darkcat.gaming
I just did a test on the current AOW chapter 3 and the Relic Hunter Archer are still at 1.44 but what doesn't make any sense is that the Relic Hunter fighters are coming in at 1.54 ranged.
look to me fun com mass up again . low lv npc got most atk wtf they do. u can try when r lv20 go volcano or udc and n knockout that npc 90% u get kill first.

@@darkcat.gaming I have them stationed around bottle necks so accuracy isn't a big issue. But last I checked they had a 2.88 ranged multiplier, I could be wrong, I haven't checked in a while but they deal good damage with Khan bow and star metal arrows.

im leader of grimm reapers and yh ive played the game since day one of beta , we are the old Eu alphas that have never been beaten. we left the game a while back bcoz of cheaters and thats why im annoyed at what youre doing. instead of putting all the exploits on here for ev1 to see and use against the lil guys how about you stop that shiii and start helpin the lil guys out. all you are doing is causing more n more ppl to use these exploits. if you were on officials how wud you like it if i came n wiped you by duping thousands of bombs????? i dont think youd like it tbf.@@darkcat.gaming

Man, if you're going to make a video on something, actually convey something useful. And don't spread misinformation. The information for damage calculations isn't hard to do. If you don't know how to do it, learn. Only showing damage multipliers means absolutely nothing. Making assumptions for comparisons is fine, but you need to have *something* to compare. You have 10 thralls with a billboard behind them with a number that means absolutely nothing without context. It would have been easy to calculate out the damage. Pick an enemy. Pick a comparable strength and agility bow. Calculate the damage that thrall would do with that bow. You could do it by actual testing or even with a spreadsheet. But it would actually have some comparison. This is 20 minutes of fluff and 5 seconds of information.
Idk maybe I should explain easier or it's too much for beginners to understand maybe but for ppl who play conan and work with thralls they know what I mean and no need to test 15 thrall dmg and make a 2h video u know
