if in 1:34 ctrl + shift + t isn't working for you it might be because you have to go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Search up : "node" > and check the two boxes that say "Node : Node Arrange" and "Node: Node Wrangler" It happened to me so if it helped ur welcome

when I go into my textures folder, Blender says "no matching images exist" but there are several .jpg and .png in there and it won't even display them. It just bombs with that error message. I do the shift control T and it opens the dialogue box and I hit back arrow then double click to go into textures folder and bomb.... nope. Any idea why? I am new to Blender so was just wondering that but I was able to drag them from the main navigation window at the left to make the 4 nodes and yet it doesn't auto connect them like yours so.. I tried to connect them manually and I'm not sure I have it all but anyway... why is it bombing on my textures folder? thx for the tut!

hello, i want ask you.. why i cant impor material to circle shape? the texture of wood cannot be display at that circle i made :(( the circle just fill with the brown color ( without texture ) *the way i create the circle : shift A - mesh - circle - add new edge/face from vertices - add modifer - solidify ( + Edit mod select all and press F on your keyboard ) *the way i impor/add texture picture : select the circle shape - material properties - add new - go to base color section - image texture - open image - select image - open image is there something wrong with my steps? please help me🙏🏻 thank you

Does PBR texture count if I make it only with a Priciple BSDF and increase metalic and add some roughness with voronoi and bump. Does it have to have image textures to count as a PBR.

Great video! Simple and informative. BTW is there a way of exporting this model and keeping the displacement property for the fbx file? My plan was too use this as ground and wall tiles in unity but when i import them they all come out as "flat". The texture is on. But the properties are not. Anyone have any ideas?

you can actually have displacement in eevee, by creating a displace modifier and link it to the displacement map in texture properties
