2 actions from 1 cam. Teddy, one of my wooden automata. 

I like making small automata with open frames so that the workings are easily visible. A limitation is that it is difficult to have more than a couple of cams on a compact open framed mechanism. This example shows a solution for adding extra actions that works well and retains the compact design.
The automata being demonstrated is Teddy, a small automaton made from American cherry wood.
