I am unbelievably proud of Devyn and Jordan for not only planning this adventure together, but also filming and editing the entire video. Excited to see them do more of this!
Worst case, at least there is one Jeep among them to rectify any issues 🤣😂Not a ruby but at least a Willys so not all is lost and one is a service member. He did at least choose a Yota n not some Bronco, ha must respect. Much to be proud of for sure.
Remember when it was a one man show and now the whole family is in. From another military guy, I can only hope to have something like this in the future when my service is up. Doing things with the ones you love is what it’s all about. Glad to see the guys getting in on the action some more. Devyn, you crack me up dude and I love my Cafe Bustelo in the morning too
@@overland_dadsfl If we are basing the decision on cooking and coffee making skills, I would say neither is Marco 😂. Just kidding guys. I liked the video!
Really liking the additional dimensions to the TrailRecon channel over the past few months. With Regina sharing more and now your children getting some time the channel is growing in a way a lot of other channels aren’t able to. I’m particularly liking the Gucci vs. Walmart contrast to the outdoor experience. Although it does seem the build budget for these 20 somethings is a bit higher than most, it’s clear there’s going to be more content for the beginner.
This looks like an absolute blast! It’s easy to get caught up in mods, gear, complexity, ect…. This video is a perfect reminder that all you need is a vehicle to get you out there and good company while you’re getting there and back! Great job with the filming too!
GLADIATOR! I knew I liked Devyn! Hands down the best movie of all time. The dialog, the story, the music, everything. Well chosen. I love this episode. You guys are amazing. I've had to add a couple more overlanding items to my wish list. I love how humble these guys are. Dad's done well. First, the sausage is trying to jump ship then the handle. Lol, many creators would have edited those out. Well done, guys. I'm looking forward to more of these videos.
Gentlemen you did great. Like the truthfulness and seeing the meat almost drop our of your hand and burning the handle. 😂Keep this stuff in the videos since it inspires all of us who are just starting and don’t have a clue of simple camping. Love to see more of you two gents, and bring dad along once in a while.
The mistakes and hiccups are great to see guys. Way to get out there without dads help and make a really solid video from video to narration you guys did a great job.
Having 2 kids of my own this video was very special. Happy for your family to expand your adventures to the next generation. I also use that espresso pot and stove. Pick up a Ilsa Gas Ring Reducer, 4.75-Inch, Cast Iron from Amazon. Works very well!
Great job on sharing the start of your journey & love for Mother Earth's creation, as this generation, rtning home to nature, is the GUARDIAN keepers generation to make the world a better place again. Love it, keep it coming Devin/Jordan. ♥
Love this. Seeing them at the beginning of their camping adventures and stock vehicles makes me more confident to want to go out and do this. Cant wait to see more of them!
It’s really good to see the younger generation out camping and exploring. A while back, my daughter went out with 5 others for an over-nighter. She was the only one who had camped before. I am looking for y’all’s next trip.
Great video. I know Brad and Regina are super proud. Thanks for showing the hiccups as well as the good. Looking forward to many more videos from you guys.
They do sell a large hot plate for the small Moka pots. It is literally just a larger metal disk with a metal handle, not too expensive. It does have a large range of uses, I also use it for smaller pots and pans. Just an FYI.
Fun video! I had to chuckle at Jordan driving over a rock at 2:20. I did the same thing after parking on Oyster Shell Wash. The only difference is my rock was a bit taller and I ended up pinned with the top of the rock between the 2 crossmembers. Took a bottle jack and a traction board to get back over it. :)
Awesome to be able to get to instill good morals and values in your children that's the reason I got my Jeep to be able to have those moments with my son. You guys ever think about doing an outing for veterans being in San Diego I think you would get a lot of volunteers. Keep up the great work.
I must say, I loved the content. Good ole overlanding, nice narration of the trail and good cooking. Perfect!!! Looking forward to more of this same content!!!!!
This is awesome content. Great change of pace. You don’t need 100k in your rig, half the Apple Store, and a Michelin star to have a good time. Some beers, brothers, and brats is all you need!
Awesome video love seeing how much this channel that has given us so much knowledge and happiness is growing .... nothing better than family Enjoy guys ! Great rigs !
This was an outstanding video, and I love that y'all kept mistakes you made in the final video. We've all been there! It's also great to see stock-ish vehicles out on adventures!
Great job Devyn and Jordan. You did your mom and dad proud on this one. Devyn you might want talk to your dad about coffee pots....and coffee. I thought oh no melted handle. We've all done it. Or something like it. Looking forward too see what you two next,
Great video gentlemen, job well done. Most importantly, you all had some down time, time to relax and enjoy life. It's not about the destination, but rather the journey. At least you have the peace and solitude of the desert. Here in Hawaii, we are mostly relegated to camping down by the beach. Looking forward to seeing more of your great videos in the future. Aloha.
Such a fun episode! Nice to be able to raid mom and dads gear stash. Just snagged a early 70’s backpacking stove from mine, lol. Refreshing to see an video presented with an everyday “civilian” feel. The honesty and humility really came across. ✌🏼❤️😊
